Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

ST-2 has:

Recaro heated sports front seats with partial leather trim
Halogen projector style headlights with LED day running lights
Sony DAB audio with SYNC and Emergency Assistance
Ford power starter button
Privacy glass

ST-3 adds:

Sony DAB Radio/CD with Navigation System
Ford KeyFree System - Keyless entry with Ford Power Starter Button
Cruise control
Automatic headlights
Automatic wipers
Auto-dimming rear-view mirror
Electronic Automatic Temperature Control
Power-foldable door mirrors with puddle lights

I believe all of the above can be added to the ST-2 at time of the build, I've got some of them on my ST-2. So the car you're looking at might have some of these anyway.
Some of the features would be nice as standard, but not a deal breaker if you don't have them imo.
 
Cheers mate I'll note that down and look for what extra bits it may have.

Price wise it seems OK... but I've not followed extensively with the second hand ones.

It's just that it's local so gotta be worth a nosey :)

With regards to the stereo's, is literally the only difference actually sat nav?

Or are speakers and head unit sound/features different? As I do like my music... and would potentially add a small sub later down the line.

As far as the speakers go, I think the NAV unit has an additional speaker, but I think that's just for the nav itself. The sound system is good for a stock unit.

I haven't really kept up on the prices (I bought new, so for obvious reasons, don't want to see how much they've depreciated :p) but I'd say you'd be right, unless there's something else which has happened to the car in the short time the first owners had it.

I have to agree, I was really impressed by the quality of the stereo in my mates ST2 :)
 
I will have a nosey on Sunday if it's still there. It's one of the cheapest lowest mile ones that's for sure but as you say race red is the freeee colour so who knows lol.

Yeah I've driven one Ad, nice drive not that raw compared to a couple of cars I've had but a good daily driver which is what I want now with minimal hassle and some warranty :)
 
Don't hate on the red (that is what i have ordered mine in:D). Red is my favourite colour for a car so the fact it was a free colour was a bonus.

The Spirit blue looks too purple a lot (most) of the time. I can't be dealing with a purple car. I wish it was more of a "performance blue" like they had on the mk 2 Focus ST. You know, an actual blue.

Also, I test drove a molten orange one,which in fairness was a bit grubby, but it looked awful. It just looked like it was supposed to be red but that it had already faded.

13k sounds fairly cheap for an 8 month old ST-2. Private sale I presume? You do know you could get a new standard red ST-2 for not much more than £15k though right?

Unfortunately it sold on Friday, yer snooze yer lose! Was cheapest for age and milage in UK as well from now looking. Oh well we will see what happens. On the upside someone is buying my Astra this week and I am set to lose £50 so that's fantastic :)

The cheap ones go very quickly! You would probably be looking at more like £14k from a dealer forecourt.

Had to be red for me.

I don't like white and black personally as I like a bit of colour on my car!

Whilst the blue looks nice in bright sunshine, it looks purple in dull weather which I wasn't a fan of.

Molten orange is well expensive, and whilst it looks nice when very clean, it just looks like a faded red when it is dirty and in dull weather.

if it came to it though, white would probably have been my second choice.

I wish they had a proper blue colour in the colour range.

I agree. The blue now is different to the MK2 ST blue which was really nice. I think it was called performance blue.
The colours for the Fiesta aren't bad, but the new Focus ST colours are awful, one of them looks like unpainted primer!

Anyway, enjoy the red. Are the interior lights still red, along with the sil lights? I thought red & white in that combo was a good compromise.
 
Don't really get why they don't let you pick any colour, or at least from a much bigger selection. Kinda odd really.

Yes the ambient lighting is still red and the illuminated door sills are red also.

I like the purple :(

I see wayyyy too many standard Fiestas in Race Red so had to get one of the rarer colours. I'll be damned if I see any STs around here let alone one in Spirit Blue
 
Still not bored of the ST. Only things that annoy me are the rattling door cards and bumping ride on our lovely Cornish roads! :p

Screw the fact it is quick and great to drive, the fact I can just speak to the car and tell it what piece of music I want to play is brilliant :D

No having to type in song names or scroll through lists etc. Just say the song and it plays!
