Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

wow this thread has sunk a few pages!

thought I'd revive it! Picking up a new 2015 tomorrow. moved to Canada, the prices are so cheap thought i'd get something nice!

it ended up at around £13500. with moon roof nav' and painted alloys. fuel is half price over here as well!

downside is that for me, after riding a bike with 800hp+/tonne for 3 years counts for nothing insurance wise over here. so yep, raped for insurance at £2k/year.... ouch. i'm trying to get myself involved in a advanced driving course to reduce the premiums, they nock off about 25% for 3 years, so yeah, worth it!

so, any tips for the first few days of ownership?

Free up your calendar and tell the wife you'll see her in a few days time.

I miss my Fiesta ST :(

well, it's first day of the new job today and back to night shifts so not much chance for that yet.

i do however need some practice behind 4 wheels, i only passed my test 2 days before i came over here! still a bit rusty parking lol. \

I'm like a kid the day before christmas!

What are these like to sit in all day?. Ive just started a new job, where im driving to different places all through the day. The mileage is only 40 per day, 4 times per week but all on B roads and side roads. Are these comfortable for a big chap im 6ft2 and weigh about 19 stone. Im not worried about the fuel costs, it would be nice to have something fun when I want a blast and something comfy for driving at work

The Recaro seats are comfy (for me at least - 5ft8 10.5 stone :D) but the ride is a little on the hard side if you are driving on rough road surfaces.

Best to take a test drive out on a road you would use to get a feel.

Kerbed one of my bloody alloys on the MK7, how much to get one refurbed?

Thinking of leaving it until after winter/icey weather though just incase...

Morning guys,

I'm in need of a car and the FiST has caught my eye somewhat.

My last car was an E92 325i and I didn't enjoy the fuel economy or the large doors for getting in and out of it was quite low (sound like a grandad).

The idea of a nippy little fiesta interests me but I'm a little worried about the build quality, has anyone found the same?

I've been looking at the new Polo GTi 2015 facelift and its lovely, but a little out of my budget. Looking online I can see many used FiSTs available 2+ years old with low mileage.

If anyone is in the Horsham area and would like to show me their ST I would be grateful :)

Stoneacre York are a sponsor on the STOC forums, you'll get a good deal from them if you sign up. It's only a tenner a year and it's a good forum with loads of group buys etc.

I'm picking up my car from them tomorrow. Had a mountune exhaust fitted and and a new set of Fifteen52 Tarmacs put on. :)

Was this message aimed at me about the wheel kerbing? ha.

Enjoy your mountune, want it doing myself tbh! Im already signed up on STOC actually but never go on anymore.

Hi all,

I'm about to get an ST-3 but have a couple of questions:

1) What price should I be aiming for after negotiations with the dealer?
2) Is there an st-4 on the horizon?

Thanks :).

I paid ~ 16.4k for mine from my local dealer with style pack, parking sensors and spare wheel in race red.

No ST-4 as far as i know. I don't think there is much more they could put on it to be honest in terms of options.

Could be a Fiesta RS but who knows. Next Fiesta is out 2017 so the next ST probably won't be until a a year or two after that.

Thanks for the quick reply! I would be extremely happy with that price.

So stuck on which colour to get!

Red is best :p I might be biased though.
