Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Gearbox issues, clutch bearing noise etc are the main stand out issues, but I knocked a checklist up a couple of years back when I bought one, perhaps of some use: CLICKY

I sold mine and the gearbox failed like a month later. Damn things are made of cheese. Its the main thing to be careful of.

Had a drive in the st2 at my local dealers on Saturday , loving the car but a little bit of me wants the st3 , is it worth the extra for the toys .

I went ST3 as all in it worked out better than adding on some of the options for an ST2.

Flying down to Bristol from Newcastle to pickup a Ford Fiesta ST 150 on saturday, I must be mad

Only 45k on the clock with loads of extras, just hope everything is as described!

Travelling with my girlfriend then calling in at the lakes on the way back to make a day of it.

Well I ordered a new ST2 in molton orange, will be at the dealers Friday , pity as I am away at a dog show in Ireland till Monday .

Got my car back from the sprayers last week after having the drivers side done and it's looking spot on now with no colour matching issues.

Now it's given me another fault where it's grinding if I turn at low speed. Changed the PAS pump yesterday and still no fix so need to look further. I ****ing love my car :rolleyes:

Been advised that the stereo in my ST3 is knackered and needs to be replaced. No lead time yet.

This followed a few weeks later by no sound at all from passenger side speakers and cutting out altogether.

Now a member of the Fiesta ST 150 club!

Car is in excellent condition but has one annoying issue which I didn't notice on a test drive. On a cold start the revs sit at 1200rpm but as soon as i touch the throttle the revs drop to 500rpm and nearly stall the car.

The car is a 2006 facelift model so should have the latest ecu software?

I have read other people have had success cleaning the throttle body so I am going to remove that but has anyone in this thread came across this issue?

Picking up my 07 plate ST on Saturday. Can't wait. Diamond white with blue stripes. What head unit are people using? I have about £200 to spend including any extra connectors / surrounds.

I have an android phone (Samsung S6) and would like to stream spotify over bluetooth to it. Not particularly fussed about CDs

Currently looking at THIS Alpine-CDE-W235bt Anyone have it? From looking on google images single din seems to get lost in the dash

Can't say I am a fan of the wheels but that is because purple is my hated colour. I can appreciate where you are going with it though, certainly making it your own and it does look funky. Where will the upgrades see you?
