Will try and fit them today if the weather holds out, heres hoping. Will tinker with them for a few weeks but will probably end up getting a proper setup at some point.

Shame they don't come with camber adjustable top mounts though :(

Will look at getting adjustable lower arms and a full pollybush kit next.

Looking forward to your write up!

Most cheaper sets don't have adjustable shocks do they? So the ride can become very harsh.

They look nice though!

Your right, kits like AP, Weitec don't have adjustable dampers. Even the Varient 1 KW's don't have adjustable dampers and they are over £700.

Gaz are the only other coilovers I know in this price bracket, around the £550 mark, which have adjustable dampers but I had Gaz in the past and didn't like them.

What impressed me was that these came with top mounts too which was a nice added bonus, they look to be solid rubber items too which will be an improvement over standard!

Would a non-lowered fiesta st look stupid if i were to put it on 16" wheels?
Currently i have after-market silver 17" alloys on which were on when i got it, but now i'm starting to really dislike the silver wheels.
There seems to be a lot more colour choices in 16".
The car is black, and i'm think black/anthracite wheels, or maybe something wierd like orange/red/green and then change some other parts to match (Mirrors ect.)

It is really down to personal taste.

Though i think anything lower than 17" on the big arches of the ST look stupid and out of place.

That was my thinking really, don't really want the wheel arch gap to be any bigger, seems to look quite big already.
Going to keep looking for some nice 17" that aren't too expensive. Or go for some ST500 alloys if i can find them.

16s can look good but you have to go really quite low...on standard suspension 16s won't look too great if you ask me. When I first got 16s, the car was lowered 35mm on Bilsteins but it still looked too high. Now its on coilovers and looks like this...

There are a few people with 16s on FiestaSTOC.com but they have all got coilovers, and dropped around 45mm...

Well added a few more things that will be getting done in next few months

Trying to get a white splitter made.

Next months check list to be done will be:

Lowering on Eibach's ( me and mate are going to have a crack at it)
Spacer kit fitted
Alloys prepped and powder coated white
Kaylen mudflaps fitted. Not got stickers made for mud flaps yet but will be done.
New tyres all around (still haven't decided what to go for yet. feel free to recommend some for me)
4 red wheel badge gel overlays

Deciding whether to spray my plastics black and the fog surrounds white?

Not bad to say i wasn't going to do anything to this car....

Exactly the same mate, just different brand names from looking at the descriptions.

Either will be fine as long as you aint doing any heavy driving or track sessions ect ect.

My front brakes have gone.... Thats me losing a few hours of work in the morning, hoping i can get some from somewhere around here.

Sorry to hear that Milky, hopefully you can catch up with the little cretin though!

Quick question for you all, how cold is your air conditioning? Mine isn't all that cold really, and seems to take a bit longer than I would expect to get going. I guess it could do with a re-gas, but I just wanted to check what yours are like?
