Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

good deal on those mate
were they off the forums/bay?

looking to collect a full set of alloys to get painted. then maybe run winter tyres on my current tatty ones

Got them off a top bloke called Stason over on fordfiestast.co.uk.

Just took my car in to have the fat ott kit on. Bloke who is doing my car as gave me a number for his friend who does powder coating, says he did his for £25 a alloy. So he will be getting a ring soon.

Now just car-less for the day.

So who else is going to ford fair at the weekend?

I'm going with fordfiestaST.co.uk. Not planned to do track time or a 0-60 run but I believe you can pay for 0-60 runs on the day so might have a go.

Took the plunge and bought some new coilovers

Both height and damping adjustable.

Reviews seem to rate them quite highly so heres hoping!

I'm going, on the same stand too, never been before you meeting at the services in Northampton?

Yep, it's my first time too, i'm meeting at Star City in Birmingham instead and then convoying to Cherwell Services to meet everyone else. What's your screename on the site?

Oddly we had the exact same number of posts (414) before I posted this. Are you me?!! :o :p

Those coilovers look pretty decent, nice to get an ARB too. I've got the Bilstein B12's on mine and I really like them, not sure I would have the skill to adjust coilovers myself and get the most from them.

Ahh right there doesnt seem to be anyone convoying near me unless i go out my way so Cherwell Services it is for me.

Haha yeah i noticed that to :o My screen name is GR3G whats yours?? ive seen Ryob89 knocking about on there saw him get that deal of the century on them alloys lucky get! :p

From what ive heard its simple to adjust them, just park up on some level ground and measure the clearance (although im a complete noob at that sort of thing so dont take my word for it ;) )

Oh yeah mate, i'm kinobeSTew. With the Colorado Red ST. Seen you over there posting.

If you change your mind about convoying then join us at Star City, there is a thread on the forum. I don't think it's out of your way too much?

And yeah, that is a bargain on those alloys, I saw Stason selling them and was considering it. Got to be quick!

For others, i'm picking up a load of DMB graphics, red roose hoses (coolant and anciliary) and an OMP strut brace at ford fair. Big spender! ;)

Yeah, I imagine the height thing isn't too bad to get right, adjusting all the other things like camber, etc i'm not sure i'd be great at.

300mm Mondeo Mk3 brakes fitted to my car this morning, and after 100miles of running in all i can say is wow... :D Giving them a few 100 more before i do any REAL braking, but i can already tell these mean the business!

All in for £160 too Bargain.

Callipers Mk3 mondeo £40
ST170 300mm Brake discs £50
Greenstuff Mondeo mk3 Brake Pads £60
4x 12mm Calliper bolts direct from ford £8

Well worth it!

Well one for people o laugh at me and call me a idiot lol...

Had my stripes fitted yesterday but the garage didn't put the boot stripes on as they said they wasn't cut right. Anyway, impatient as i am i tried putting the boot stripes on my self early this morning to find out the garage was correct, so pulled the boot stripes back off in frustration which then took some lacquer off, then seeing that i decided to love tap my boot which as now left a dent in my boot....

So yeah, great morning i have had.....Warranob i am...

So now i have a car what has a ott kit with the boot stripes missing with a patch of lacquer missing and a dent.
