Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Hmmm I'm having thoughts of taking the stripes back off. Looking at james and my OP pic, the car does look so more subtle. Though reason I did put stripes on is because so many naked red ST's was knocking about and I like being the odd one out lol.

Will have to have a play in photoshop later if I can remember how to use it.

Off to Leeds tonight to fetch the ST alloys I sent off to be Powder coated. Will stick them on after Christmas.

Also I took the mudflaps off the other day and refitted them so they now stick out About 1-2.5 inches.... Not sure if I'm digging them now to be honest, keep looking at them every time I get in car. OcUK caused that one lol.

At least the side of your car will stay relatively clean over these winter months? lol
 
Went and fetched my newly coated ST alloys last night. The bloke who has done them for me has done a really good job of them. £30 a alloy.

Not so much referb but he will get them to there best he can for £5 extra a wheel.

Procedure is a Shot blast and powder coat and starts from £20 depending on alloy size.

If you want his number just trust me and I'll send it you.
 
Yeah, got red ford gel overlays as well. Did ask bloke if he could powder coat the centre caps but he said the oven would just melt them.

Sure I'll be able to find some spray paint that will match, got 6 centre caps to try it on any way :)

Seriously considering taking stripes off now though, want to go more subtle route like your's.
 
Been having a look at the ST's , very tempted in trying to pick up a 2008 model which either plain stock or with a proper Mountune stage 1/2. Obviously which hasnt been thrashed.

I used to have a Mk4 Fiesta Zetec S ;) currently use a Mk1 Yaris CDX ;)

Is there anything specific i need to look out when i go and have a look at some ?

Awesome. Just won a auction on some genuine ford facelift lights for £62!

Now i just need to get some rear lights.
 
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but you need a different loom for the rear lights as they have 2x reverse lights whereas the pre-facelift only has the one, for a while most people used the loom from aftermarket rear lights but can't remember which ones were used. The front lights are however fine and are just a straight swap.

Facelift lights. I now look a bit newer! Just need to get some rears now. Awesome for £60 including all bulbs.

Friend has got me some centre caps after we made a bet about mine not getting nicked so will take the plastidip off my wheels when i get them.
 
Need de-tangoing.... Also remember back lights need a new wiring loom because of the double reverse lights.

Your car is looking smarter with the new lights, I have to admit.

Yeah, need the new loom but hoping i can just plug in for the time being and just be without one of the reverse lights. If not i may just get a wiring diagram and make my own loom.

One of the first things i said when i have them on was the indicators. Never noticed them that much on other cars before. Not sure if i can me arsed to de-tango though.

Just makes the colours all look a bit more uniform with one another. Makes it look "cleaner".

Does anyone have any experience with a rear light conversion with regards to stripping wires and making your own loom? Trying to buy from FSTOC but the no one ever replies...
