Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Is that a Clio/Fiesta war i smell brewing up lol.

Had to happen some time soon, this is OcUK at the end of the day.:D

I'm only jesting! :p

Last long run I done, I seen 37mpg on the trip computer. Wasn't trying to hard to be economical, but the weather was dreadful.

Average low 30s though and when pinning it, teens if your lucky.

Theres no need for a war. We know who would win. The Germans lol.

Im hoping to get some 3m wrap soon but need to pay for Tax and MOT. Just remembered that I have to book it in

I'm gunna calm it for a bit now we buying things.

Wait till after Christmas and I'll get my new white alloys fitted. Just hope I can find someone who can do it properly with out damaging my alloys paint.

On the old civic they messed up the paint on the edge of every wheel real bad! Shame I didn't notice till a week later.

so about the same as a fiesta st then....

Thinking about some new tyres to replace the ditchfinders on my stock alloys. Have 2 good contisports on them but the other two are awful.

T1-Rs or Rainsports?

Had T1-Rs before and still have them on my O.Zs but maybe a change is good?

Nearly binned the ST today due to a confused old couple in a Hyundai.

Where you can see the pin, a old man slammed his brakes on to a hault. Causing me to swerve into the fast lane, thankfully there was no cars there. As I have gone past I can see this old couple debating if to go up the slip road or not.

This is the A617 from Chesterfield to Mansfield/M1. Was pouring it down to with rain.

Really, there needs something put in place for people reaching 65+ to make them take a re-test to make sure they are fit for the road.

Seeing it more and more lately.

New member to the ST club, picked this up on Sunday. This is my third fiesta after going from a Mk4 1.25 -> MK5 Zetec S 1.6 -> ST

Very happy with it, no mods planned just yet, was thinking Mountune 165 around June/July time. :)

My Zetec S put out 122bhp on the dyno. With weight taken into consideration, there is very little in it bhp per ton. The ST is not a whole lot quicker in the lower gears but certainly pulls better in 4th and 5th. I knew before I bought it that it wouldn't be a lot quicker (I was originally looking at Clio 182s for this very reason - but was put off by build quality). That's where the Mountune will come in later on ;)

Not bad going from the Zetec S @ 122BHP :) I may be getting my hours slashed and a Zetec S would be a consideration as they're pretty peppy and not bad for tax and mpg'z.

Thought about a TDCI aswell, bit of tuning would be a must.

Still have a soft spot for ST's and think they look bloomin' smart just dropped a bit, love James' in this thread :)

New car looks well though Killer, do you know a lad called Nath who's into his Fords also? I'm sure he mentioned a friend of his had a Zetec S and just had an ST as his missus wants an ST as well.

I know, i know. I should have got one ages ago but it was down on the list of things to do. The throttle response now is totally different but it's kinda easy to see why with all those resonators and tubing. Was anyone actually able to remove the bracket the resonator pod was sitting on?

Annoying thing though is that i had to pay £11 more for insurance when only a couple of month ago they said it was a free modifications. I asked why and they said it appeals more to thieves having this modification on. I also added my different wheels and that added no charge...go figure.

Might get a flexi next but i'm not paying that extortionate price for a flexi pipe.

Next thing on the list is coilovers or springs though.

I left the bracket there so the cable ties had somewhere to go for the 2 cold feeds.

I would love to lower my car but way to many speed humps around here and they are massive. Plus i prefer to park my car in a certain multi-story car park.

The chances of an insurance company recognizing an aftermarket flexi pipe would be pretty slim I would have imagined.

You won't have any issues with speed bumps on just springs. I have no issues with mine and it's a lot lower than springs :p

I didn't mean extortionate with regards to insurance, just the actual cost of the flexi pipe. :p

I'm thinking i may just wait about for a second hand full milltek system with sport cat.

I just can't decide what i like best on my car. So plastidip off but left the centres black sans centre cap. One thing for certain is that i LOVE these new lights.

Ap Coilovers and spacers next...must resist credit card purchase now...

Without centre caps the car looks incomplete.

I have a flexi and cat back and viper induction kit. Car sounds awesome. Loud but I dont care.

APs are great. I have them on mine cant say anything bad about them

Mine got nicked originally. Had some really nice black DMB gel overlays on them too. Mates got me a set though after we made a bet so just waiting for him to get them to me.

For the time being though i think leaving the black centres looks better than nothing at all. :p
