Speaking of which... haha

Sheet of carbon and a red connector hose has arrived this morning. Waiting on my helicoils and a red lock cover for the boot

one of most monstrous ST's being broken up.

I've been in his car, it goes (went?) well, kind of a shame to see it being split for parts but I suppose its worth much more that way. Am tempted by his brakes at that price. Not sure if they'll fit mind, the 315mm APs might but the 330s stand no chance...

The bilsteins he's selling are presumably my old set as well, they had about 5-6k miles on them when I sold them to him around march/april last year so not quite sure how he can claim only 4k miles use!

always the way.

I sold my Piper exhaust i was truthful with the info, over 40k on it from me, unknown mileage from previous owner, and around 6years old. £150... However 2 months later the guy was selling it saying its almost new and low mileage £180 lol...

Get that splitter and OTT stripes off imo. :p

I think it's mainly the fact the splitter sticks out like a Leno chin that makes it look so odd.

He is selling a lot of stuff with pretty much a 30% mark up to the going rate... :(

Those facelift lights with the loom are far too expensive and doesn't look like it comes with the right adapter to plug the hole up from the elements.

If anyone sees a whole exhaust system for a good price with sport cat that would be ideal. Same goes for a nice set of coilovers.

I don't have a ST but close, the Zetec, im sure the cars are pretty much identical in the pedal box assembly. A slight click has developed when the clutch is depressed, you can feel it slightly through the pedal too.

Google says that the clutch pedal meets a plastic arm that comes through the bulkhead, which pushes onto a tube on the pedal. I stuck my head under and this is correct, there is no circlip or anything retaining it though, the Ford clip seems to just fall off from what I have read, im sure putting a tie wrap around it will stop it working its way along the arm though.

I'm not sure where the clicking noise is coming from, if its from this plastic piece moving laterally on the clutch pedal arm, or the spring which gives the pedal some weight. Is the clutch cable or hydraulic (cable on last legs if its cable?).

Anyone else had this, seems moderately common, if so whats the best fix?

My new 2008 red fiesta st is going to dreamscience on Wednesday for a 2.5 supercharger kit fitting a 6 paddle clutch kit and a diff. I have cosworth cams and inlet manifold 60mm tb and ps relocation kit also but I am not going to fit yet as I want to see how it drives @ 250 bhp first.
I will be fitting the full miltek with decat tho.

And might try to get away with the 300mm brake kit from the mondeo to start with....

Will try to post pics over the weekend once its all done.

The supercharger i got second hand tonight from a guy that had it fitted at jamsport in august and did 3k on it for £2500
The Diff and clutch is costing about £1200 fitted and i am yet to see the bill for fitting the SC kit and Miltek. Al tho they have told me i wont have to pay for the mapping as they have it on file.

so i recon about £4000 mate

Then there is the cosworth cams, inlet, and 60mm TB to come next but if i am happy with the power i might sell them on tbh. :) lol as if

4000 that's a lot of money in one go.

But I am sure it will bring a very big smile to your face. Best stock up on oil :D

Got something coming this week for the car. :D

Excited. Will probably fit myself too.

EDIT - Got a service coming up at the end of this month and i usually supply them with my own oil. Castrol Magnetex. Is this necessary? Is the oil that Ford dealerships use a good enough grade for me to not bother buying my own?

Has anyone bought and fitted the side stripes themselves?
I've looking to get red or metallic grey for my black st, i'm slowly making a red and black theme.
But also, how hard are they to remove and get the area underneith looking normal again?

I'm thinking i may need to get some axle spacers now. Just really don't want to have to fit them again. Did it to my old Fiesta and was a pain in the rear to get the hub nut off. Needed a massive breaker bar and a lot of force.

Going to fit my APs this weekend hopefully. Was going to do today but my camera has failed on me and needs to be sorted ASAP...

One of my friends is selling a 300mm kit for £180, he's in Basildon so not that far either.

You don't need to take the hub nut off?

Undo the caliper, take off the brake disk, then remove the 4 bolts holding the rear hub onto the beam, place the spacer into position and then tighten it back up, job done :)

Got all the bits and pieces to have a crack at making a carbon fiber plug cover. Will give it a go this weekend and see what the out come is like. Not a major mod but just something to keep me occupied and stop me spending money on more expensive things!

Took this picture last week although I've raised it slightly since then due to nursery being located down a pot hold ridden country lane :(

and a very simple and effective mod, a colour coded boot lock cover
