Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Wouldn't you consider doing your self? I'm quite dandy with a tin a spray paint so if i ever decide on it, I will do it my self.

I am now a member of the Fiesta ST club, and pick the car up next week. Dealer is getting me some black alloys included in the price. When done it should look very similar to shaun's a few posts up. Can't wait :)

What reg year? Mileage? Cost?

£6,895. 2008, 24,491 on the clock. It is more than I think such cars are worth, but I wanted to get as much money back from my Audi as I could so chose one of the more expensive ones for sale. There were cheaper ones in my area, but was worried about loosing too much on the part ex. Plus all the others were either plain black, or plain blue and I much prefer the silver with black. Car has previously been lowered and rear windows are tinted.

Is it normal for the dealer to give you the difference between the cars in cash? First time I've part exchanged to get a cheaper car. Wasn't sure if some dealers would just do a straight swap or whether them paying you the difference is normal. Dealer is given me back £700 to cover the price difference.

I wasn't sure if dealers always paid the difference between the car your selling and the one your buying, when your car is worth more. It is the first time I've bought a car that was worth less than the one I was selling so wasn't sure if what the dealer did for me was normal or not.

Nice choice of colour ;) stripes?

Black. This is the car before the black alloys get put on. You'll have to excuse my thumb on some of them & the bird crap.

Any colour... What colour do you think would look awesome on a Fiesta ST?

Gun metal grey? Focus ST orange? Etc etc...

Someone on STOC had one resprayed in focus st orange, somehow it didn't seem to suit the car though, just looked odd out on the little fiesta!

As for sea grey, I think there was a thread on STOC and later it turned out one of the earliest press cars on a 54 plate was that colour - which wasn't available when the car was on general sale. The car was sold on by FMC after its life as a press car, who knows if its owner knows how unique their car is! I think there is are a tiny number of tonic blue painted fiesta STs for similar reasons, going by what I've read on the owners club.

Sea grey is awesome but it'd make everyone think you drove a zetec s!

Performance blue is still my favourite, biased as I am!
