Excellent choice with the recaro's. I think they became an optional extra towards the end of the 182 production @ ~ £500 i think.
 
I'll post pics later - I've had a 197 for a couple of months now.

It's an 07 Clio 197 in Black. Option wise, it's got the Recaro seats, White Speedlines and rear tinted windows. It's nice. :)
 
Certainly chose the best colour ;)

Very jealous of the Recaros as well. Really wish id held out for one with Recaro's now although at the time i had little choice but to get fixed up with a motor asap.

It was advertised for £6250, but it needs two new Michelins on the front, so the price was knocked down a bit.

Yeh Im lovin the colour too! I was originally after the racing blue colour (the non-metallic on, usually seen with the racing stripes on), but I think this colour is much better.

lol, give me a chance!!! :D

I'll probably leave it alone for a bit tbh, although I might think about remapping it sometime in the future. Ive heard it does significantly increase the performance, as it improves the torque at lower revs, and it doesnt affect the mpg too much either!

Other than that, Im more than happy with it the way it is! :D

Forgive my noobness, but how is a panel filter different from an induction kit? Does it do the same job?
Are they easy to fit too?

Just knicked this photo off another forum, does it just sit in this 'box' on the right?

They have a much longer life than a standard OEM filter, and can be used up to 100,000 Miles (dependent on filter). They wont sound anything different at all, but they might improve performance ever so slightly (very hard to tell a lot of the time!).

FF with cup packs and xenons(racing blue), used to own a 172 a long time ago in a galaxy far far away :)

both are great cars, 197 really comes alive on them B roads
 
Those seats are damn nice!

I knew if I waited long enough a car would almost fall into my lap. Car on CS come up for sale in my town so will definitely go and view this one. £4k for it though its just under 62k FSH and had all the belts done, new front tyres and a 10month MOT. £4k seems a bit much really so should be able to get this a bit lower.

I have had the same issue with my aftermarket one, I have had 3 systems off of the company and my 3rd one started making a horrible noise at the start of October. I am still waiting for them to fix it/replace it (it has a lifetime warranty) and every day I drive it the noise gets worse. It is getting embarrasing to drive! :(
