Who here owns a Renaultsport?

yeah, the Sachs' were refurbished last year, and it has had all belts changed along with FSH etc. This car has over 150 pages of receipts / history. I have never seen a car looked after so well... it had just under 60k on clock.
 
I was going to but I thought there may be something wrong with it - the wheel was a bit of a mess, missing front splitter. Just seemed too cheap!
 
I thought that also to start with, but thought I'd go look anyway... I'm glad I did.

The car is in pretty good condition to be honest. There is only 1 small dent on bonnet and 1 car park ding.

The splitter is there and seems fine. The steering wheel has melted a bit, but so has every 182 steering wheel I have ever seen.

For the money it's a bargain. As I say... it has a huge wedge of documented history and I have spoken to the previous owner.

Supposidly the dealer he underwrote it for did not realise it was a special edition, they just thought it was a normal 182.. hence the price.

Thinking about getting my steering wheel done by the guy on CS. I SO want a smaller wheel but it's just not worth dying for :( I want a new gear stick knob too, any suggestions for one that I can just do a straight swap with? Mines worn as hell
 
Can I fit the cup steering wheel to my Trophy? as I believe it has the slightly larger wheel that came with the FF? feels huge anyway!

Not aware of any difference? The only difference in the Phase 2 wheels is the late 172s and 182s had cruise control buttons on them. They are all the same (huge) size.
 
oh, I could have sworn the wheel in my old 182 cup was smaller? ...guess not then.

I do hate the size of the wheel, feel like i'm driving an oil tanker. However, i'm not sure I want to lose the airbag with an after market wheel.
 
The wheel is woeful, I think I'm going to swap if for a Momo item.

I have a Richbrook slant gear knob, it's ok, better than the Renault item imo.
 
Thought i would post this over here aswell, hopefully if we get quite a bit of interest the group buy price might be a bit better...

These are a copy of the cup car solid top mounts and strut brace, looks like a very nice bit of a kit, and is the real deal as it bolts into the top mounts not side tower.
