Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Evening all, whats the website and size (w * h) again for the small style number plates?

Also squirrel were you near rotherfield parked outside a farm the other day on highcross road, my mum saw what she thought was my car until she realised otherwise haha!

Finally finished doing my headlight correction, and being honest I'm well chuffed with how they've turned out  still the odd scuff here and there but you have to be 20cm from the headlights to see them really.

I went and bought a Silverline power drill sanding & polishing kit today (didn't use the sand paper pads as I had already sanded by hand with fine sandpaper so not to damage the headlights indefinately) and just used the lambswool pad that was included in the box and attached it to a drill.

I used Meguiars Plast-X on the pad and just started lightly buffing the headlights until the finish started to look respectable and clear. Each headlight took about 10-15 minutes. Here are the pics anyway as I'm sure you've all skipped reading this anyway :p apologies for the rain drops!

That looks great, just what I need to do with mine. Where did you get the Silverline kit and how much was it?

I need some new tyres. The car currently has Michelin Exalto PE2's all around. I can't find these anywhere, I think they are no longer produced?

From what I can find out they have been replaced with the Pilot Sport 3... is this correct?

There seems to be 2 versions of the PS3, one is 15quid more and has 'XL TL' whatever that means? any ideas?

Thanks.

It is a struggle to find PE2s online. The more expensive PE3s are for higher speed ratings, and not really needed.
Have you considered Hankook V12s?

I'm afraid not, although I don't live far from there :)

Thanks SS ^ I will get one ordered.

Maccy - the Hankooks seem a bargain at £65/each. Reviews also seem pretty good for them. Do you have them on your car? if so, how would you rate them? I'm looking for a good all round tyre that can cope with a couple of track days. the PS2's seemed to hold up pretty well on track.

I saw one of the new shape RS Clio 200s today in red. Stunning car in the flesh and a real head turner but the lack of Bi-Xennons is a real turn off.

No I currently have all round PE2s on mine which are good but I'd prefer something a little softer in terms of ride comfort. A friend of mine used to have the V12s on his 182 and they offered the same level of grip but a nicer ride.
This website you linked to seems a lot cheaper than other websites! Have you used them before?

I saw a 200 Gordini driving through Aylesbury Yesterday. The blue on the wheels actually looks a lot more subtle in reality then they do in alll the pictures online.

It's made me really want a Clio 200, was looking at getting a 172/182 next year .. but really tempted by a 200 now :(

I had the same problem. Went for Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 in the end. Had them on for about a year and have to say they are awesome. I actually prefer them to the PE2's.

Wasn't sure what to make of the Camskill website, it seemed a little bit...ammateurish? But if you guys have ordered from there then I'll give them a go when the time comes :)

I think they look great, but would never pay the premium for one.

I was going to go down the 200 route, however I'm glad I opted for a much cheaper 182.
