Who here owns a Renaultsport?

I was under the impression the Brembo discs could be got for £45? Or they could at least last time I looked.

My braided lines were £25 and ATE Super Blue fluid was around £13 iirc from GSF. Not that they've been fitted yet, they're in a box in the garage with a new ball joint.

I think my car needs a mini service, its had cambelt, aux belt, dephaser and oil change since I had it so going to give it a spark plug and filter change soon and get the brakes sorted.

FWIW I didnt have any issues with my standard brakes on track at FCS.

Yeah, the figures were off the top of my head. If you shop around you can get things cheap. I remember when I did a load of work on my car that included brakes and a service and replacement shocks I had to knock up a big spreadsheet to work out where was the cheapest combination of places to buy the parts from, as nowhere was consistently cheapest on everything :(

Yeah true, finding the cheapest place isnt easy and you can be better off just buying everything from one place.

Thankfully with a Renault Tech mate and a mate at a local motor factors I generally do alright.

CS is down far too much, what the hell do they do to warrant taking the site offline?!

Made my 417 mile journey successfully today in 6 and a half hours, Clio ran superbly :)

Good to hear. I had my Clio out for a run around Otterburn ranges last Sunday and she ran superbly. The run up there was great fun. I've done the drive up there tens of times in my old Fabia but it felt special it the Clio. There's something about this car that really pushes my buttons and makes me want to drive it even more.

There's a 172 in renfrewshire I fancy the looks of. But I don't know when I will next have a day off to view it =[
It's on ebay so could bid but then there's the problem of getting back to the burgh before work or going after work and being home midnightish =[

Made it back from Helensburgh earlier, glad I didn't go into London!
Clip has racked up close to 1000 miles this weekend and ran brilliantly :)

Got any mates who could view it for you? Got a link to it?

Loads of cars get re listed for numerous reasons.

It looks like any other generic low priced 172, tbh. Definately would want to view it and drive it first. Check all the service details and things.

Ach well. There's no way I can view it anytime soon. Today is my day off for while now and work awkward shifts. And without a current car it isn't as easy as just jumping in one and going off to view.

The steering feels very floating at the moment and it's annoying me. I think I need to get it fully aligned again. It's veering all over the place when driving at the moment.

Tyre pressures, ball joints, suspension bushes, wheel bearings, etc.

Check all the standard stuff.
