i would put the exact mileage and say it will creep up as using it to commute to work

also if your a non smoker, state this, id be hesitant to buy car from a smoker (well thats just me! lol) - no offence to smokers

Personally I would mention the date the cam/aux belt were done as it is time or mileage based. If a potential buyer knows what he is looking for they will ask for the date as well anyway.
 
So this has happened after coming back from 519 yesterday -


Can't get through to his mobile but he's convinced me on facebook that it's an air leak. Great - I have limited tools at the moment so can't check all screws/bolts. Does sound like it's coming from the spark plugs/leads though.
 
Well that's annoying! Does sound like an air leak though. What has Dan worked on previously?

Mine is annoying me too. Got a weird rattle when coming to a stop. Sounds like it's coming from straight ahead when in the drivers seat. It stops rattling a few seconds after coming to a stop and doesn't occur when revving in neutral. Getting right on my nerves as I can't work out what it could be..
 
It only had a 12k service, gearbox oil change and a quick timing check. So can only be induction kit or inlet cover...
 
I don't really know much about this sort of thing, But I doubt that noise is from an air leak.

Kind of sounds more like an electrical sound, maybe alternator or something.

Does it sound much different when you rev the engine up?
 
When you turn the ignition on with a ph2 172/182, but haven't yet started the engine, they make a funny whine noise. It's the electric throttle body. They all do it.
Just wondering if your noise is anything similar to that in terms of pitch/location?
 
It doesn't make the noise until the engine's started to warm up - I didn't notice it when I first left for work this morning, started creeping in after ~5 mins.
