Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Just received my exhaust bushes, is it worth filling them with tigerseal before fitting them, they look awfully flexible?

Got it yet scarysquirrel?

Sorted my exhaust mounts earlier, not pretty but they'll do the job.

I saw you at Silverstone the other week Sam btw, at the drifting thing:p

You should have said hello i was getting so burnt god that was a hot day ! where abouts did you see me ?

Woodcote. We were sat in the stand in the shade and you and 3 others with their shirts off walked past:p

:p

I wasnt that impressed really, seemed a bit of a let down for £20. Thought there would be a far better turn out of cars. My mate in his 360bhp pulsar was out on track and another mate with a 350Z was out too :)

I swear you had an old civic type r ?

Yeah swapped it last week mate.

I wasn't impressed with the day either, infact the DC2 and EK9 on the trackday bit was a highlight for me:p

Well the guy was happy with the Clio so took it at the price we'd agreed on before meeting. For the first time in ages there are no Clios in this household ;) Was sad to see it go.

Well it seems I have once again found myself looking at 182's to replace my leon! Particularly in blue or orange :D

The only question I have (at the moment at least!) is how well do the engines cope with mileage?

It seems for £4-5k on PistonHeads you can get a 182 with aboout 60/70k miles.
£5-6k examples have about 40-60k miles (and some dreamers)

£4k - 67k miles clicky
£5k - 51k miles clicky
£5k - 33k miles clicky
£6k - 37k miles clicky
£6k - 53k miles clicky

Is there any obvious reasons that the 2 for £5k have such different mileages for the price, and similarly the 2 for £6k?
The £5k Orange one has less miles than the blue one, and vice versa for the £6k examples... So it doesn't seem to me like the colour is reflecting the price on that basis? Is it just owners dreaming a bit too much?

Also, am I right in thinking that cruise control is standard on the 182? I'd need to have that as the gf lives almost 250 miles away!

Cheers for any help on the undoubtedly already asked questions - but I've skipped through the recent posts and didn't see the answers jumping out at me :p

Because the seller of the blue one has a grasp of the English language, and the seller of the hideous orange one doesn't?

I know nothing of Clio 182's, but from the advert isn't the blue one a 182 with both cup packs (one is suspension, the other is spoiler), and the orange one is a 182 cup (the no-aircon, no-xenons, etc. light weight car)?

why not look at 172's mate? save you some ££,

I was overlooking the shocking adverts, location from me and the fact they had sold purely for research purposes but yes, I'd sooner trust someone who took the time to write a properly-worded advert!

That is the point I've missed though - the Cup vs Cup packs, I'd be after a 182 with cup packs (with all the toys)

I knew it'd be something daft like that I'd missed, cheers for pointing it out :)

I've signed up at cliosport for a bit more in-depth research and will no doubt be on Pistonheads/Autotrader for days to come! There's a black one with 33k on it at a local garage to me, more than I'd pay but I'm going to have a look around it at some point to see how I find it compared to my leon.
