Is that like being top of the class in bottom set maths?

Yea:p

Well you can compare a 197 and a DC5, you can't really compare a DC5 and an M3, they're just... different.

Ya get me?

Very nice mate. Have you got any more pictures of the red callipers?

I'm painting mine this weekend, I was going to do them black as everyone over at CS.net says "If they're not Brembo, don't show them off by painting them red", but they do look pretty good on yours.

DC5 in White so it needs cleaning every other day. Wheels are a nightmare lol. Love the look of 172's, they look mean from the front.

Nice mate, i bet that is a nightmare to keep clean! Mine had just been waxed etc in that pic, which i normally do quite often but not been able to with the weather we have had recently :(

Do them blue, assuming your's is blue, that would look smart.

Are you taking them off the car? It's far to cold to be messing around with that, im planning on doing the same in the summer, but leaving them on car lol.

Yeah it gets dirty quick in winter, but white it excellent for hiding small stratches and stuff like that. Don't regret white at all.

Your wheels look immiculate as well......My mates 172 wheels were flaking like hell. There a nice design.

Yea, cant beat Turninis! I got them refurb'd couple of years ago :D

Do you think if I painted them red and didn't like them it would be easy enough to go over them again in black? Assuming I used a wire brush to get most of the red off?

Depends on the paint, i used Hammerite which was quite thick. Should still be able to paint over them though if you chose to.

lol what have we started, I just used the M3 as it was the first car around 11k or so that came to mind.

My point was just that whole thing of 'ooh if you add on a bit more..', where does it stop :)

Got no qualms about the DC5 though, nice cars.

Ooops sorry was getting mixed up with the Trophy :o

Just wait out for a mint 182FF, it has all the toys xeons, cruise, climate control and ESP and ABS and AC auto wipers etc etc... A much much better everyday car! :)

All the toys do intrest me as they would most. But the 172 Cup being so cheap and (so I've heard) cheap to mantian and run?

It really depends on how cheap this 172 will be.
