Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Seems like a fair price if it's in good condition.

Just make sure the cambelt change has been done by a dealer or specialist. Theres a lot of horror stories about local garages messing them up!

Scary Squirrel that looks amazing! :)

Would anyone be so kind to try and find me a nice 182 with a budget of say around £4,200?

I have around £5.5k but need money for insurance!

Also, the 182 in the awesome cup/blue color, is that also recognized as the cup model as a 182? Would probably rather have the luxuries than the little bit more speed. I notice the 182's come in that awesome color but have the luxuries! e.g http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...radius/1501/postcode/al100rb/page/5?logcode=p

I know this is a 172, but this seems very cheap? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...postcode/al100rb/page/1/radius/1501?logcode=p

That seems a bit too cheap matey, not sure why though.

There's 3 types of 182 - standard, 182 with cup packs and the 182 cup. You'd want the 182 with cup packs (no real difference in terms of speed and has nicer seats and climate control etc).

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2321942.htm isn't a bad example if you got rid of the stupid rear lights :)

The most common blues are:

Arctic Blue - Like mine
Racing Blue - (like this one - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?553202-First-pics-of-the-RB-182)
Mondial Blue - Similar to Arctic, but this is the colour used on 172 cups (see your second link).

Personally I love Arctic Blue (obviously) :)

If you're ever thinking of getting coilovers you might be better without the cup packs (well, one of them), because it means you have a hub spacing of 60mm rather than 54mm, and this really limits your choice of coilovers. Not a massive issue, but worth considering.

That looks like Arctic Blue??

Yeah, they're very similar, but the 172 cup in Mondial Blue. You can't get Mondial Blue on a 182.

The only reason I know this is because I nearly accidentally bought a 172 cup spoiler as I thought it was arctic blue, before someone informed me of the difference :)

Just spoke with Admiral who previously said they would give me 4 years NCB even though I have 0. Been driving for 4 years with no incidents and they said as long as I can prove this they will honor it and give me 4 years NCB. Just rung up and the woman said that they will only honor however long you've been with you last company.

So with 1 years NCB the clio 182 came to £1310, with 4 years NCB it's around £1100.

£4,000 + £1310 = £5130. Probably a bit more than I want to be looking at! Wonder if I could pick up a 182 for around £3,800 (perhaps listing price of £4,000)
