Who here owns a Renaultsport?

I averaged 40mpg from sheffield to lincoln and back, but the A57 is pretty much limited to 60 with speed cameras and few overtaking spots.

40 was being too generous to the little beast :D!! Hit that a few times on the motorway sitting at 70 with a gentle foot mind.

But usually its low 30s going for a blast its around 27, can be lower.

Nvm..just rung up and the car with both cup packs is sold :(

Gutting!
The first one (pistonheads link) seemed spot on. Is the other one sold? The only thing I could tell from both of them is they have aftermarket exhausts but thats quite a common thing on these!

EDIT: Just noticed that the steering wheel looks melted as well which, again, is common and easily sorted.

Hmm it's got the anthracite wheels and the spoiler so it has one of the packs, I can't tell if it has cup suspension though - would imagine so?

There's no way of telling by looking at pictures right? Really frustrating!

When I rung him I said, 'does the car have both cup packs?' Errrrrrrrrr, it's not a cup mate, just a 182.

Looks a good deal though, could probs get it for £3,500

The suspension cup pack gave you the darker wheels, but obviously there are probably a few non-cupped with the cup-pack wheels so its a good indicator but no guarantee.

I remember reading something about the cup pack suspension having a different colour to the normal suspension, so a quick look under the arches could tell... Anyone know if that was correct?

Spoiler cup pack - splitter and cup spoiler
Suspension cup pack - cup springs and anthracite wheels

Most are missing the splitter anyway, but a skoda one for £11 new from the dealer is good enough of a replacement for most :)

The only way to be 100% sure its got cup suspension is to measure the front strut lower bolt spacing, will be 60mm on a cupped car and 54mm on a non cupped car.
