Who here owns a Renaultsport?

There's the Clio 182 Cup. A particular model of car sold by Renault. Comes with the 2.0 engine, Recaro Seats, big spoiler, nice suspension.
This is the drivers car as it is lighter weight by not having Xenon headlamps Air-Con, etc.

Then there's the Clio 182 Trophy. OM NOM NOM.

Hope that clears it up for you :).

182 cup has standard seats as said, and it comes with air con (but loses climate as in the 182).

I believe the suspension is the same as a cup packed 182.

Trophy was the one with the properly uprated suspension (sachs remote res dampers) and Recaros as standard.

I'd love a set of Recaros in mine. Some came up for sale for £750 recently, but for car seats, I realised I was being silly even considering it! I've spent enough on the car now. Next up is a full wheel alignment, camber setup, etc. Then I'm just going to enjoy it for what it is.

Yeah Maccy pointed out about the seats. I've corrected my post incase anyone comes along and reads it in isolation and then treats it as gospel!

No Cup packs on that yellow 182 :(. Not that I'm looking at adverts again....

Are you sure? I see anthracite wheels, spoiler and front splitter...

Ctrl + F on the page found nothing for the word "Cup" but yeah, looking at the photos the spoiler and wheels are there. Have to get your hands dirty to check the suspension! :p

My browser's tabs are rather full now...

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2368909.htm <- Not sure about yellow
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2196547.htm <- ZOMG mileage! Makes the others seem expensive for their miles! No mention of service history though, and with so few miles you'd hope they've atleast changed the oil once!

LY is the best colour! Or RB :)

11k mileage, could be worth considering. If it wasn't so far away from me, I would be looking at it.

Why does this scream at me STAY AWAY.

Am i right in thinking the RS192 is the best exhaust available for the 182 at the moment? The power gains seem very impressive if true (192bhp on a standard car, hence the name), and i really like the subtle sports sound. Can't really complain about the price either! Anything else better out there?

I had one on mine, really nice sound, not overly loud just a little deeper than standard. I wouldn't believe those power gains to be honest, although I never put mine on the rollers, there was no way it made near 192. The 182's don't make stock bhp anyway, so with an exhaust, remap and air filter, you'll probably only reach the 182bhp mark.

Other popular choices are yozzasport, miltek and k-tec. Depends what noise you want, they'll all add a few extra bhp (but don't get caught up on that with these cars). The yozza tends to be a bit louder than the rest, K-tec have a few options on the level of noise you can achieve and the Miltek option seemed on a similar noise level to the Scorpion.

I might be getting another clio in the summer, possibility of a new job means fewer miles and less need for a dirty diesel. Will be a 172 this time though, getting very cheap these days!

Click on the following link and then select Clio Renaultsport 182 then sales data and colour range.

It shows you numbers of each colours sold and with what options. There are far more cars with Cup packs than without. Very few with Recaros or Sat Nav. Almost 4000 of the 5222 normal 182's regisitered have the cup suspension pack.

I remember when I was looking and theres far more with the cup packs than without.

I got mine from a Renault dealer and the sales guy asked me what the cup packs were, when I asked if it had them over the phone! Just shows how clueless they really are!

As has been said already, the only definite way to know is to turn up with a tape measure. You can get into the bolts at the bottom of the strut by turning the wheels to full lock.

Now that's cool!

Arctic Blue 182 with both Cup Suspension & Cup Spoiler is what I want. Recaro's would be a bonus, but with only 89 out of 5222 FF 182s having them I doubt my chances! In looking through ads I can't say I've seen any with Recaros or Nav.

Have to say that http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2196547.htm is tempting. Not too far from me either (sorry Begbie :p)
Though given the miles, price and lack of the word "Service" in the advert I bet I'd find it has never even had the fluids changed and is from the Isle of Wight or something! Maybe even got ScarySquirrel's old engine in it just for completeness :p

The yozza was my first choice but the guy dealing with them moved to oz and stopped producing them. BTM took over existing orders, and they were out of stock for aaaaaaages. BTM just announced yesterday that they are taking orders again for a 14-28day turn around, great news!
