Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Mine has a miltek fitted and it sounds amazing :) Only issue is motorways!!! Stupid 5 speed gearbox. Far too loud to commute.

Going to give mine a full clean tomorrow so shall post some pictures up! :D Have all day so going to give it some TLC.

The only problem that bugs me is the dam trip computer!!! Why oh why when it gets to 30miles left the light comes on then the computer reads ---!! Ahhh just my pet hate with the car.

Just fitted 4 new continental premium contact 2 tyres. Managed to get the back end out a few times which I have not felt before! Saying that the roads are cold and damp so not the best time to tackle roundabouts at a fair notch. (No not dangerous driving) Are these quite poor tyres in the wet?

If the tyres are brand new then they'll still have a fair covering of tyre releasing agent, they'll need a couple of hundred miles at least before they're worn in.

Nice to see this thread on here as I have a soft spot for the 182's. Bought my 182 in 2004 when they first came out and with 16 miles on the clock ( import car though ). Fantastic little car and great fun to drive!

Anyway sold her last year before any major problems/costs occured! Did me proud tho in all the years I had it.

Looks ok. He mentions that the cambelt has been done but doesn't mention the aux belt. Ensure that both have been done at the same time (the aux belt will take out the cambelt if it goes) and that they have been done by a specialist.

Anybody run r888's on cup wheels/suspension, and do you get any rubbing? Whats the recommended size? 205/45/16 is standard for normal tyres iirc so im going to assume 195/50/16 would be suitable for r888's? Got a contact to get toyo's cheap so might pick up a set of r888's and TR1's for when i need them.

I think you will get rubbing on 50's I did but mine is slightly lower than the cup suspension. Have you got them fitted now??

Went out for a drive tonight and the ESP light came on and would'nt turn off, had to stop the car and turn the engine off. Hmmm the wired world of French electrics.

Got my 182!!! This thing flies :D

Paid £3,300 74k on the car and it only has 1 downfall. The car steams up easily...so something to do with the aircon.

Got insured on it for £1389, considering I'm 21, not so bad. I'll upload pics tomorrow :)

Change the cabin filter and check for damp carpet. You don't want to be having air con problems.

Not even got the car yet! :p Was hoping to pick it up today, but it will have to be sunday now, getting so impatient! Quote for the 195/50/16 r888's was £320 compared to £530 from camskill, so i think a purchase in a couple months is due!

Mine steams up really easily.
It clears up if you have the air recirc switched on when the climate control is on auto. Clears mine really fast.

I just stick the windscreen blowers on. It's noisy, but clears the screen in a matter of seconds if the engine is up to temp.

So, my Clio is ****ing me off a lot at the moment. More little knocks and noises which I can't diagnose, but most annoyingly my ****ing exhaust is blowing again, despite resealing the suspect join again at the weekend.

I'm now contacting people about modifying my cat and removing my Milltek centre silencer, opting for a 2.5" straight through pipe instead. Benefits are I'll get a bit more noise from the exhaust (not decat levels though I don't think), it will still pass emissions tests (cat still in place), and the ****er will be welded with a much better clamp in place to stop it blowing.

Info and a video in this thread here - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/show...ted-inlets-)&highlight=cat+mod+matched+inlets (video: http://s189.photobucket.com/albums/z95/fbmluke/mycar/?action=view&current=MOV02322.mp4)

I'll hopefully be getting my laser wheel alignment done in the next couple of weeks, so it will be good to have that all sorted, especially as I've managed to 99% eliminate my wheel rubbing issues since I fitted the coilovers. I did this by cutting away a small piece of arch liner and taking a dremel to a metal lip on where the bumper bracket is. This seems to be a common fix on CS.net, and I'm glad it's worked. I may even lower the front a couple more mm again next time it's up on axle stands, and obviously before I get it all aligned.

My my, I do bang on don't I?

In other news, I now want a BMW Z4.
