Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Sorry for the silly question, but what exactly is a front splitter?

Would like to thanks Maccy and SS for all the help you guys provided me with! Thanks so much

The plastic lip below the bumper. You can buy one from Skoda and DIY it yourself for around £12 :) Wont go on mine as its too low and rips off :(!

The front splitter goes around the bottom of the front bumper, here's my 172 with the Skoda splitter added :)

Haha, the lowest I've seen my mpg was 19.1 when all the snow was around...it didn't enjoy the cold and slow driving :p Got Kumho KU31 tyres on my 172, they're fantastic for the money!

Mine has a miltek fitted and it sounds amazing :) Only issue is motorways!!! Stupid 5 speed gearbox. Far too loud to commute.

My Miltek isn't loud at all on the motorway. One of the good things is is that it only 'drones' at very low revs or when going too slow in too high a gear. I agree a 6th would be useful though!

Possibly, I honestly don't know to be honest - just going on what I've heard!

I smashed mine on a cat  Skoda splitter 4tw. Screw Renault wanting £120 for something that's actually more brittle! and that gets scraped often enough. Couldn't stand looking at my car without the splitter on!

For mine i just ordered:

Skoda front splitter
Silvervisions to replace indicators front and back
Silvervisions to replace the side repeaters
Xsara mist washer jets

And a new xenon ignitor unit and cable from germany i think(renault want 170 + VAT!) and wont split the ignitor from the ballast so bugger them they cant have my money :D

So now i will have two working xenons again, some pleb left the rubber cup disloged on the back of the xenon unit so the ignitor connections corroded n eventually snapped off.

Next things for mine will be smaller battery(as its blocking the air intake) again some noob fitted a too larger battery! Get some blanks for the xenon washers as they leak and cant be arsed to put return valves, because eventually they will leak again and ruin a clean car!

Smaller number plate and improved aerial because i get the worst signal in the world!
