I like that, and seems more appropriately priced imo, I see some WRXs have PPP what's included with that package and is it worth finding a car with it on?

It's a remap, different Intercooler hose, and a rear silencer.

If the budget allows then an STI is the way to go IMHO

The STI gets you better suspension, better brakes, DCCD (If MY05 >) the same 265BHP and more option as far as increasing power down the line

it's not on his website, he's probably sold it because that advert could be pretty old................dont bother yet with PPP just find one with low mileage but it's not easy with the Blobeye

i'm homing in on the WRX STI but i wont say much more until i actually get off my Bum and buy something or i'll get trolled like crazy ;)

i've got to page 11 on Pistonheads for you and there's sod all for the low mileage that you're after (in your model type), and not much else in other models either.................

i recommend Hurst Cars because he's a brilliant guy..........but he has nothing less than 60k miles at the moment, it depends how desperate you are because i would contact him and wait till he can get you something imported..............Torque GT are also brilliant too!

Get one now as the prices are going up week by week.

I was just checking the other day and the cheapest black widetrack i could find was £12k and it had 140k miles on the clock and it sold. Mental.

yea' there's not a lot one can say with a budget of only 6k............you can get a damned good little car (but very boring) for 6K but not an STI.

I much prefer the blobeye cars, and 6-6.5k is about my limit for a scooby, Don't fancy the hawkeye due to the potential problems the 2.5 engine can bring (from what i've read) and I don't fancy the £500 quid tax either, so that's why I have my heart set on a Blob.

Ready for a brake overhaul now. Just bought braided lines, ATP TYP200 fluid and new pads.

Pondering whether to round it all off with a Tegiwa brake stopper or not

Could not bring myself to spend £6k on a WRX.. can't believe how they've gone up, really surprised.

There's not many cars at that price range I fancy, When I bought my Z4, it was always a choice between a WRX, Z4 3.0i or a 330ci, which of course the Z4 came up first and I bought it, Now That i'm looking to get rid for something more practical without sacrificing performance, It seems a nice time to scratch the Impreza itch, If i had the dosh I would get an STI no doubts, but that's what i'm limited to i'm afraid. 0-60 5.7 on a standard car aint all that bad riiiight? :D
