Who here owns a Subaru?

@Vita i reckon you was the quickest diesel hatch there tbh quicker run than the mps and wrx i was against.

There wasn't any diesel there apart from that other red Leon from what I remember.

I don't give my car any mechanical sympathy on the strip. As it's my daily on the road I hardly give it stick as I never need to.

Had clutch slip at high revs not sure what it was about on that particular run but it's never done it again. I just want to get below 15s. Once this turbo dies then I'll be going hybrid.

Ryan, I didn't say your clutch slipped, I said you slipped your clutch... or rode it, same difference.

Nah, not racing you now you're on meth. I've seen how drugs change people, don't want to provoke you. You're bad enough on here :p

Blame Rybo!

Why you selling it @sovietspybob ?

Bored it of tbf, it's fun but it is an old car now and getting tired of tinkering with it more than driving. Never really gelled with this one as i'm always comparing it to my old widetrack which was a better car in pretty much every way so i've come to the conclusion i should just sell up and get something like an MX5, keep it stock engine wise and just enjoy doing some track days without worrying about engine rebuilds and going through consumables so quickly!

A friend was over yesterday who has just finished doing up a Clio 172 and he's not getting on with his either, must be something in the air around here :(

The wife had a 197 for a few years but i really couldn't see the appeal of them tbh, It was fine for her going to work but it seemed to be about 5/10 or 6/10 of what my old DC5 was and i couldn't really see what the fuss was about. I'd much rather have an EP3 or a Celica GT for the same money.

I've got a Clio 200 Cup, I'd swap it in a heartbeat for a DC2 (or DC5 at a push), the DC2 I had was a different class.

If I was to have any Clio again I'd test drive a 172/182 to see what the fuss is about and then see about a diff.
