Who here owns a Subaru?

No idea how it happened, I was on the motorway so I'm guessing that a bolt came loose and a stone or something hit it.

Either way Mark will sort me another one out for £100 and this time I'll use some 3m tape to glue AND bolt it.

If it judders it may just have uneven parts on the clutch plate. Give it a couple of good launches with a bit of clutch slip. Should sort it.

If not, I can thoroughly recommend the Exedy Organic clutch. Mine has been amazing.

It was the first and only launch that I did that caused it... I think.

Is that the pink box one with anti-judder?

What about the flywheel, I read somewhere that you have to get it skimmed or something. Have you upgraded yours?

Walbro, HRC or SWRD fuel pump - what do you have?

Yup anti-judder.

Flywheel, mine is just skimmed.

Fuel pump is currently walbro, changing to either a new walbro or HRC shortly as part of a refresh.

It judders every now and then, it's rather annoying.

Car has done 72k

If it does it only when cold, ignore it. They all do this. The standard clutch can take 330bhp. If it absolutely has to be replaced, the best is AP racing, but probably excessive for your needs.

OK, I've leave the clutch then till it starts slipping.

Can you clarify something - does the Type UK have a cat in the downpipe?

Anyone have a buyers guide for a 2007 hawkeye wrx sti? Seriously considering selling the frs for one of these!

Just saw you getting a telling off at Santa pod, kosta. Your face when she told you was priceless.

Funny you mention that, as someone put that video up on Facebook not realising it was me! My face was like :o as I had no idea that I would add a good 10mph to my 1/4mile trap speed from my remap. I was very happy!

:D

My opinion? Don't bother. Get a 2005 UK car, or find a JDM hawkeye if you really want the hawkeye looks.

I really really really don't like the 2.5 engines unless they have been rebuilt and remapped by a reputable specialist.

Cheers for the opinion, i take it the 2.5 would be higher tax too? 2005 would that be a blob eye?

lol @ that vid :D

Cheers,

Ben.

You are right. The hawkeyes are pretty much all in the higher tax band, simply due to their manufacture date. 2005 would indeed be a blobeye too. :)
