I had the Nurspec S on my Yaris. That exhaust sounded awesome. The Cobra on the Scoob is just :eek:, it's so loud. :(

The Nurspec on the Yaris sounded strange, jet-fied suctionish noise. With a decat it was very raspy.

I wish I had a turbo to act as a silencer, above 4k in the Scoob it's just crazy loud. I really should change it.
 
Don't forget, as you have a wagon, it really makes it boomy.

Strangely enough, when my Dad had a silly loud exhaust on his WRX, he padded the boot with some like cotton wool fabric. Couldn't have added even 1kg of material, yet majorly reduced the cabin boom.

Yeah that's that daft drone I get at low revs. It's really annoying. I will have a look as I have a lot of material lying around. Thanks for the tip! Did he just place it on the top, or in where the spare wheel sits/jack etc?

I buggered my oil filter. My car is now at a stand still. I am very sad. :( It's in the most awful place. The headers get in the way, is there a specific ratchet cup I can use?
 
You did what what? Did you not buy a filter as well as oil? To change both at the same time?

I've always found it really easy to access :) If it's really tight just stab a screw driver through it and twist. Then replace with new!

Remember to prefill the oil filter before fitting. It takes a while to do as they really soak up quite a lot of oil.

I thought today would be a nice day to change the oil/oil filter. I first had an attempt at loosening it but it didn't work. Then I just drained the oil in the sump etc, but the filter wouldn't budge. There isn't enough space the only space I have is between the manifold and front radiator. It's an awkward position.
