Who here owns a Subaru?

Just stop being silly and get a 2005 widetrack and keep it!

I still have mine, not taken it out properly for a while. Fair few nights out with friends etc. so the GT is the perfect car for that. Scooby is more for personal me time, so depending on the occasion/mood I'll pick the appropriate vehicle:p

Haha, yeah definitely keeping it longer than the last. Glad youre here actually - Ninja II vs. Blitz Nur Spec? If you were starting again now which would you pick? Ive never heard either in the real world but know the Nur Spec is loud, dors it still have the low rumble too? :)

Great question because I've had both on my car! Came with the Ninja II initially. Definitely the Nur Spec R, the NSR is loud but also had such a great characteristic noise which is the trademark for the Scooby. Ninja II is better than stock but quiet and as a result the rumble is quiet too.

If I was starting out all over again, I'd do the same mods to my car again.

Nur Spec R for the win!

Gurdas, did you still want my Defis btw? I had put your name by them, and seeing as they haven't sold I thought I may as well check with you.

I may end up having to sell my 2005 Widetrack this summer but its good to know people are on the lookout for them in particular! I'm just about to start building a house so if its a case of a kitchen & bathroom or a car on the drive my hand my be forced :(

I won't go into details as I don't want to get banned on here for advertising lol.

But depends which ones you want dude, the advert is on Scoobynet, just bumped it. I don't think I saved your number else I would have messaged you. Have a look, let me know if you're still interested and we can discuss :)

Blitz Nur Spec it is then, do I just go for the catback? Im clueless with exhausts! Any links to what and where I should be buying?

Blitz Nur Spec R is a catback system, which is a two piece system....the centre pipe and the rear back box. As for buying, keep an eye on Scoobynet, £250-300 is a decent price for one.

Question for you Subaru boffins, which models had 5x114.3 pcd?

2005 onwards STI's only

The WRX's used 5x100 until the end.

Because of the rather limited fitment they are extremely cheap on places like scoobynet if your car can fit them, the centre bore is rather small though.

I got a 2nd set of alloys with tyres good enough for a trackday for £100..

Can anyone help me with blubs? I have a 2003 blobeye wrx sti and have a headlight bulb out... So I'd like to take this opportunity to just update all of the lights to something that looks whiter and crisper. Bring it up to date from the off white standard bulbs. :) (The standard ones are a bit pants anyway if I'm honest..)

After some patient waiting, one came up this morning and I was down there like a maniac to make sure nobody else snapped it up. It's been looked after by an absolute perfectionist...

Collect next Friday :D

Going to treat myself to some alloys, any suggestions?

very nice, look after it

Thank you, she'll be cared for like no other :D

So far I'm thinking either Turinis or the WR1 (or WR1 replica) style alloys.

Those second set are PFF7s, and the genuine article are as rare as rocking horse excrement. The closet replica are Innovit Redlines, which I have. I think there is at least one other replica on the market. They also only come in 100 PCD AFAIK, so check the car is from before the change to larger PCD.

Congrats! Now please keep this for more than 1 week!

Go for the turinis, they are a great wheel;)

The redlines did come in 114pcd as I have a set but the turinis are the best alloys for our cars.
