Who is looking forward to GTA V

I pre-ordered the PS4 digital version of GTA V which cost 54.99. The physical copy costs around 48GBP as far as I can see. I'm more than fine with paying 7GBP more to not have to go to a store or order online while not having to use a disc. Sure it's a large download (~50GB) but that was finished well before the launch day.

Of course it means you can't sell it on, but this is a game that I wouldn't sell on anyway.

If you reckon this is bad you definitely wouldn't have been happy with the PS3 version.

I'm a PC gamer and I think overall this game looks amazing and plays perfectly fine.

Also the majority of people never get constant 60 FPS on new PC games set at high detail unless they're willing to invest thousands of pounds and even then it's touch and go and thwart with issues

Are you talking about pricing local to you? I think it's more of an issue in the UK because we can get games quite cheap here in retail which makes the download prices look artificially high. Various places had GTA5 for pre-order for £36-40 in the last few weeks, for example. There's really no need to ever pay more than £40 for a game if you shop around.
 
Anyway I'm ticked off :(

Really wanted to play some GTA with my buddy in the US and I can't access the online mode no matter what. I think it's an issue tied to my PSN account.

When I try in GTA I get "WS-37271-0" as the error code and when I try to access the PSN store I get "E-82000002" as the error.

Basically nothing works :(

No one on here seems to know what to do. You can't post on the Rockstar forums unless you're a month old member. And in my country PS has no point of contact other than an email address.

I never had any problems whatsoever with GTA on the PS3 regarding online play
 
I had something weird happen this morning. I came off the game without saving because I was in a rush but I checked back and when I got back on, Franklin had changed his clothes to a nice white top and jeans.

What's that all about? Is he stealing in the thrift shops whilst I'm away :eek:

Tried running a network test via the console itself?

The characters go out and about when you're not playing. Maybe he mugged someone of his own accord :p

I take it you haven't played this on last-gen? When playing as Trevor, you'll often select to be him, and find him drunk and semi naked in a field somewhere :D

I orginally wanted to wait for it to come to the PC but I invested into a PS4 and decided to wait. I saw videos about them getting up to things but I wasn't aware they did when you were off the PS4 as well.

I keep trying to interect with pedestrians on the streets using right on the dpad and Franklin is always causing trouble. I'm trying to be nice and he's calling them every word under the sun.

I went up to the park and saw a nice lady with a pug, went to interact and he started mouthing off. She ran off and obviously I had to chase her and beat her up because it's GTA.. He has some serious personality flaws. (Must have had a bad childhood)

I was more annoyed that the driver then went and ran over my bike after knocking me off! :D

Maybe that is Franklin's way of showing affection; being hideously offensive :p

And yeh, you may also find Trevor mid-way through a police chase sometimes :D

I have to admit, I am really looking forward to playing as Trevor, he looks like the best character in the game.
