Who owns a Mondeo ST220 / ST TDCI?

I paid just over £6k for mine. I thought it was steep but after looking around I realised I had to spend the extra chunk to get something in good condition.

Anyone know if the sump gasket changed between 2003 - 2005 ? Reason I ask is EuroCarParts list a sump gasket (part number 367590070) for the ST220 but it only says up to 10/2003. I asked Euro car parts to confirm but they were unable to do so, they didn't have one listed for a 2005 model. Im sure it would be the same ?

Is the new Mondeo out in the UK yet? I'm in the USA with work and took a ride in one last night, pretty nice...

Someone stole my rear left passenger door chrome strip from my car. What a thing to steal. Where can I get another from for a good price. Would it be nearside rear?

Exactly what I thought, and it can't exactly fall off can it. But someone did take it without the rubber. Quite annoyed now as it's either been taken by chance, or someone does not like me at work and wanted to annoy me.

there is some ray soles about! what a thing to pinch, I`ve known the rear black plastics of the bumper to be pinched also.

Well it's finally come round to ordering my tyres. I was going to go with Conti CS3's but decided to go for the Vredestien ultrac sessentas since people have given good reviews of them on stdrivers. Plus they are cheaper and I may be changing soon so didn't want to spend the extra /cheapskate.

Will see what they're like, and give my opinion on them.

The nationwide stock of ST220's has all but dried up. My criteria isn't even particularly specific: 54/05/55/06 (lower tax band), < 80k miles, reversing sensors a bonus. Would consider a hatchback, estate and possibly a saloon as a last option. There are exactly 0 private examples within 100 miles on autotrader.

Not very practical for my needs though with a 1 year old and a house move in the next few months.

Rear seats do fold. Hatchback/Estate have much more room. Saloons are also rarer to come by.

Well I just joined the ST220 club today

53 plate with just a tad under 60k miles so I was glad to get it for a half decent price (black with black leather trim). It has the satnav but no reverse sensors which is a little annoying. Is that kind of thing easy to get retrofitted? Easier to go with a third party solution or is the Ford own one available? If anyone knows then it would save me a search

I know the seats probably fold over in the "traditional" way, but can you make them flat/almost flat?
