Who owns a Mondeo ST220 / ST TDCI?

It almost feels like the wheels are dragging slightly am I right in thinking it's the brake callipers? How much are they for the ST?
Really Need my car for tommorow are they ok to drive in this state?

I replaced my rear calipers recently and went with Pagid ones from ECP. They were MUCH cheaper than OEM. See post #2771 onwards for more details.

Had my car up on jacks today just to swap wheels front and back, and noticed that the back right backbox on the exhaust has shed quite a lot of cladding, just peeling away from the internal metal casing. What's the criteria for having to replace these, and how much would I be looking at?

No idea but when mine got in that state I decided to go for a JP exhaust for about £500 I think. I think Howard went for the same one too.

New exhaust systems from Ford are lolmoney. It's all one piece from the cat back. I took great glee in chopping mine off and replacing it with a JP system. You should do the same.

I miss the noise.

Yup, great excuse to upgrade the exhaust system. I have a cat back Milltek system that sounds awesome.

Anyway, went to to fetch my newly refurbished wheels yesterday, they look awesome!

So.. New rubber, wheels, suspension and a few niggles sorted. Just need to get the MOT done now.

Another +1 for the JP. I intend on getting one for my St in the springtime. No point at this time of year as I won't get the enjoyment out of it.

Interestingly, the right backbox seems to be the ridged design you see in the picture, but the left is a smooth canister?!

Yeah the back boxes are different for some strange reason.

The sound of my JP hasn't really changed since it was installed

Just bought 4 new centre caps for £25. Not genuine, but for £60+ less, I won't argue

I'll be honest, I don't want an excuse to upgrade, I'd rather save the cash, especially since I might well shift the car in the next 12 months. Is that picture cause for concern?

Is it blowing? If not, no.

All of them go like that and are fine. Reason I changed mine was because one of the silencers rotted away. Plus me n Howard got talking about exhausts which made me take the plunge.

Had a question. I have a photo of the underside of my car looking at the jacking point cover. I swear there's a clip tied to the cover, presumably to stop it disappearing if it pops off. Does anyone else have a clip on theirs? Just wondering if it's a factory thing or the previous owner did it to mine.

That's the factory clip. As the number of missing covers will testify to, they're not very good

Temped to try sell it on now it has all these new things inc 12months ticket. Should be one of the best on the market. I sound like a broken record now, but i still really want a 2 seater

£25, really cannot go wrong. They are finished in a sparkle silver (luckily my alloys was refurbished in the same colour)
