Bloody hell those do look good. Will get them if I ever lose a cover!
1k what have u had done? you cant sell it now after spending thatI have spent over £1k getting my car back on the road
Not sure, I just get it to bite without thinking, I'll check it out tomorrow for you and let you know where mine is. 110k on the clock for me.
still on the original clutch?Dav4, mine's on 100k+ miles and biting point still pretty low.
Thanks. Is there any other ways to check my clutch? As I ain't paying 1k for all that to be done. If it struggles pulling off on incline does that mean there's not much life left in it?Nope, still a low point for me, just checked.
Has anyone had to replace their gas struts on the boot? Mine has been weak for a while and I have been putting up with it, but yesterday it fell on top of my head (was bent over at the back of the car).it basically fell the entire height it could fall and it was the latch in the centre that hit my head. Damn near brought a tear to my eye.
Could really do with fixing this. What would be the best way to go about this? Take a chance on a used one from a breakers yard or just get a new one?
edit: They're WAY cheaper than I thought they would be. Eurocar parts has them for £16.74...
i had this last week. i only do 6 miles a day (with all the electrics on when its cold! when i only go to work and back, so i just charged the battery and its ok again now.Battery light came on my car yesterday when I was out and about.
Anyone else have this? It started flickering every 30 secs or so at first and got closer and closer together until it was doing it about once every 2 seconds.
It actually stopped flickering completely for the final 10 miles or so to get home but it's left me worried!
From a quick google it looks like it's either battery or alternator but more likely to be alternator...
