who's on chrome?

The new version chrome 6 is incredibly quick loading pages. Of course, this is late at night where things are usually faster, but this is one of the new enhancements of the updated browser so it should stay pretty fast during daytime. Chrome was always quick though, and has been my favourite browser for ages. Also, the options are all in just one place now, the wrench bar. There's a couple of interesting new things in it. The go button is gone. The default toolbar theme is grey which I don't like as it's bland and cold. Blue is still nicer so use this link if you want blue back.

Im too attached to NoScript and Adblock Plus to move accross. There is something similar to NoScript on Chrome but when I tried it just didn't feel right.

I'm probably overly paranoid but I am definately attached to those two add-ons although if there is anything new in Chrome (is there?) to replace them, I would be more inclined to make the switch.

I installed Chrome just yesterday to see if it had gotten any better.

Browsed to Wikimedia to upload a photo, and the page looked completely wrong. I then closed it and uninstalled it immediately. Then opened up Firefox to continue uploading my photo.

I was very unimpressed.

You guys must have issues with your computers, :p because chrome is great here, no crashes, never have been. Of course, now that I've said that, sods law will probably come down on my head.

Don't want Flash installed on my main browser so use Chrome as my alternate. Like it a lot, but could do with a few more options for UI customisation.

it takes a while to get used to i had been on ff for years and loved it, still do, but found the version 4 to look and feel totally different so gave chrome a ride, i would say its a good 15% faster in browsing.

Must agree with Merlin, I don't think I've had Chrome crash on me once, such a stable program from my experience. Are you looking at naughty websites? :)

Have had it installed since Chrome 1.0. Think it's very fast and technologically impressive, but still use Firefox. My problem with Chrome is that after weeks of using it, it doesn't feel like 'my' browser.

The Omnibar is the single biggest thing which stops me using Chrome - it's a truly horrible piece of UI design.

Not only are there no page favicons for easy identification, but all the icons are grayscale, which defeats your peripheral vision.

Search results, bookmarks and history are in what appears to be a random order. Why are some random bookmarks I've visited about twice listed above Facebook, which I visit all the time?

URLs are displayed before titles. If you have a long URL, two words of the title are crammed on the side of the screen. I gave up navigating through URLs when Firefox introduced the smart location bar. I don't really want them back.

Still using firefox as my main browser but chrome is getting better with every build, soon as they add a new download bar it will become my main browser.

Firefox > Chrome > Safari for me.

Some days I prefer Safari on the mac to Chrome. It depends!

Although I was an early adopter of Chrome, since it came out.
I have reverted back to firefox for..... Well I don't know really.

I'M GONNA GO DOWNLOAD IT WHEN I GET HOME! :)

I must be the only one here who has never tried Chrome. :o

I should make a point of installing it, just to see what all the fuss is about.

I've been running Firefox for ages, and I can count on one hand the number of times it has crashed on me. Having only two extensions installed, Noscript and Adblock+, must be a major factor.
