***Wimbledon 2017 Official Thread***

I cant help but feel people who label Nadal, Djokavic, Federer or Murray as arrogant somehow over read into some of their comments and gestures. All four are incredibly humble most of the time and are great sportsmem

Murray on today's loss: "I was pretty close today. It wasn't like I was a million miles away from winning the match. The end was a struggle but I almost found a way to get into the semis. I was closeish. I got through five matches - the end today was tough but I wasn't far away from doing that."

Err. Am I reading this wrong, or?

It's weird how a slightly bigger racket and a more aggressive style can turn around the career of a player that was looking spent two or three seasons ago. Wouldn't bet against him playing on for another two or three seasons and that would be a hard ask for the baseliners and counter punchers like Nadal, Murray and Djokovic even though they're all much younger.
