Speaking of Raonic, he was born in Yugoslavia. Can't say I've seen any Canadians question his nationality, the same way I see some Brits keen on pointing out Konta was born in Australia.

From my point of view, national identity is about more than just place of birth. Some people I guess, can't see beyond that.
Anyway, as for Roger's resurgence compared to his younger opponents; I think how he plays the game helps his body emmensely, compared to Novak, Andy and especially Rafa, whose style of play is more punishing on their bodies. Roger plays as though he is going with the flow, so to speak, rather than against it.
