Wimbledon 2018

Anyone know what the average price might be of these players' rackets? I assume they're the best money can buy, probably all over about £200 each, albeit the pros get them for free. And cost of a new set of balls, presumably Slazenger?

Returning masterclass right there. 3 clean return winners in a row from 40-15 down and then a huge return that Isner couldn't get back in the court.

Edit: And unsurprisingly, Isner gets the break back in the very next game.

The schedulers must be kicking themselves for not starting play at 9am today. :p

Even with the roof, I think they have to be out by 11pm. It would take a one sided match between Rafa and Novak to get that done today.... if they get on.

They should have done if they have already done so, offer Rafael and Novak the choice of waiting until bed time to start their match or play on court 1. The organisers must have known these two would slug it out for hours on end.

I'm sure 99% of those that bought tickets for centre court wouldn't appreicate that. Stick these two on court 1 and put the main event on centre.

I know Wimbledon has a huge tradition and all that, but the length of this match is severely jeopardising the finish of the next semi final and fitness of the winner here for the final itself.
Final set 10-10, then have a tie break.

Do they need the roof for the lights? If so, will they start closing the roof the moment this match is over? If they wait and do it later there will be a delay as it takes something like 30m and can't be done during play, iirc?
It went on the other night during a doubles match. I think it took about 15 minutes. But it changes the way the court plays because of humidity, so I feel they should put it on from the start.
