Windows 10

Had to rebuild my Tiles etc... to get rid of the weird Outlook 2013/2016 Preview problem and I've just got this...

:D :D Love the scaling!!!!

At least my Outlook 2016 Preview tile say's 'Outlook 2016 Preview' now!! :)

Well as its an ISO I can do a fresh install and this build has the new icons as well as Windows hello, it would be nice if somebody with a finger print reader or Intel real sense camera could test it.

EDIT: Ok so I have just done a clean install under Hyper-V as per previous builds and this one seems so much quicker, the new icons are much more Windows 7 as well which will please some and I find I prefer them over the high contrast looking ones from previous builds.

build 10122 or 10125

it looks like windows 10 will come on a usb flash drive instead of a dvd

Not sure i like that idea personally,Ive had quite a few USB flash drives just randomly die on me..they should have just made it download only,Saved us folk whos buying it some ££ and save M$ having to need to provide USB flash drives.

I think it's a good idea. Even if the drive does die, the ISO will still be available for download. Just makes it a bit easier for the less tech-savvy people who won't want to mess about creating a bootable USB drive themselves.

Well given that the dodgy copies that have been coming out of China for the last 5+ years have been on USB stick its about time Microsoft caught up lol...

Most OEMs will distribute media on USB drive now (HP recently sent me one), and pretty much no device with a screen under 15" has has an optical drive in it any more, so USB media makes perfect sence.

Its only media delivery anyway as like Windows 8 I expect the ISOs will be available to download anyway.

This happened with Apple then they ditched it.

Sounds promising, but I think I will await next official after 10122. I am not in any great hurry.

Presumably you can make a clone of the USB stick anyway? Or will there be some DRM stopping that?

You'll be able to copy it, or just download a USB stick image from Microsoft like you can with Windows 8.

The installation binaries are not what your paying for, and it seems Microsoft have finally realised and are basically making them freely available.
