Keep getting that error as well. All virtualization stuff enabled in bios as well.

Can you completely remove the live tiles from the start menu to just leave a plain "old style" menu?

Really liking 10 since I've put it on my laptop. Very tempted to stick it on my main PC but I need that for work so best stick to 8.1 for now.

Actually it's like W7 combined with W8.1, so people can pick and choose how much of the modern stuff they want. Best of both worlds

And in a totally shocking and unexpected twist of events, asus xonar drivers don't install.
Brainbit ones work fine.

So, how does one reactivate swiping in the bottom right hand corner with the mouse to bring up the side bar? I don't like pressing win key and c.

Hot corners aren't working at the moment with mouse anyway, until MS get a fix out.

Part of me thinks MS has deactivated stuff on purpose to make the OS look earlier along than it really is.

Just feels like it's what Windows 8.2 would have been, think we're being hoodwinked.

It all depends what the big news is at build. It's certainly the basis of 8.2. it depends what they add though.

Cortana would be great

I'm very interested in what they're doing with all the platforms and saying it's one windows, although still talking about shared cores.

I think you'll find the mouse gestures to bring up the charms is intentionally not working and they just haven't removed the option yet. They do have their own menu in the title bar of modern apps now.

Nope, they've already said(in the media presentation) charms bar is staying it's just going to evolve. It's just not enabled by default for desktops.
And apparently they are now working on a fix, for those of us who have enabled hot corners.
