Go to Windows Update via control panel - if its found the update it will show download progress.

Doing the ESD method now, will keep you updated. So, if I upgrade now. Activate, then nuke, and do a clean, I should be able to activate with no issues right?

Nothing yet for me, even doing the cmd command and checking for Windows update. Might just call it for the night and check again tomorrow morning.

so I have used the esd tool to create a iso from install.esd file (from here $Windows.~BT), do you just extract this and run the setup.exe?

iso output file is

en_windows_10_core_10240_x64_dvd

is this correct?

Yep. But there's no need to reinstall, just hit Reset PC from within Windows 10

Yup, latest one was found and installed today (one being for the Windows 10 notification and another being a Windows Defender update).

The checker showed all green ticks etc, the copy was reserved. Does my mobo have what drivers? was the "ant" a typo for any?

Edit: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B75 Pro3-M/?cat=Download&os=Win764 This the wrong place or am I out of luck?
