Windows 10 is really just a refreshed Windows 7 under the hood, plus of course adding the bits in from W8/8.1.
Has anybody got the link to download the latest version of win 10, which I thinks is 9879. Had it running running on virtual box and run into problems so i took it off. Thanks
Microsoft has billions they should buy the software from stardock and 7 taskbar tweaker, vista switcher, volume2 and other utils that improve features.

To be fair, the interface in Windows 10 is very good. Seems to combine the best bits of both Windows 7 and 8.
The problem is that a lot of stardock's stuff is horrible bloatware. I admit though...Stuff like fences would be fantastic if it were integrated.
Microsoft released Windows 10 build 9879 x86 and x64 ISOs for everyone who want clean installation to save time download preview builds again.

I think with MS they don't realy care about what people want, they just want to push their store and apps, they are only making windows 10 like it is because users were not happy with 8.
Does anyone have any SSD speed issues with Windows 10? I can't seem to get my SSDs running at full speed compared to when I had them on Windows 8.1. Two are on Intel 6Gb ports and one is on a Marvel 6Gb port. I can't get over 250MB/s write speeds on any of them.
Two are Intel 330 120GB in RAID 0, which when I set up were getting close to a GB/s read and write, and I've just got some new Sandisk Ultra Plus SSDs, which again aren't getting write speeds of over 250MB/s. Reed speeds are down too, but the biggest deficit is the write speeds.
