Windows 10

We got a similar deal and paid £15 a copy for W8 and so bought 4 at the time. I too would not spend mega money on an OS and hope that consideration is given by MS when they announce pricing for upgrades etc.
 
The days of paying hundards for a OS are gone now, thankfully. Wouldn't work in today's world if they want everyone to upgrade.
 
I'm running on a 120GB at the moment. I think funds will stretch to a 250GB for the new version of windows. It doesn't seem to use any more space that Windows 7
 
I'm downloading the .iso now and the file-name is different. The old file-name had the build number in it - the latest was 9879. What I am getting now is apparently still the technical preview but no build number. I'll stick it on a spare machine and see.
 
I've never installed a preview version of Windows before - is it usually possible to eventually patch it to RTM levels or will I have to do a reinstall when the offical version is released?
