Windows 10

Just got updated to Build 10041, and i can't see any difference expect for the fact the Bin icon looks like crap. And it hasn't fixed any of the problems with window sizing and side by side. Seems to be taking a step backwards visually with every build
 
Just to update everyone, just installed an icon pack that gave me back the Win7 Icons for the Bin and folders. Feels so much better now!
 
Just downloaded the latest build... Gonna try and deploy it via SCCM to a Surface Pro 3.

Anyone deployed the .WIM via SCCM or installed Windows 10 on Surface Pro 3?
 
Stupid question, decided to give the technical preview a go but I can't see an option to install it on a different hdd in the set up? That normal?

What web browsers are people rocking?

I've used Firefox since 2, but really sick of its crashing.

Feel like I should move on, however do not like explorer, not keen on the look of chrome. Opera maybe?

Suppose I should be more concerned with what will actually work on w10.

As a long time Firefox user.

Get Chrome, install 'ublock' instead of adblock plus.

In what way - stability or touch implementation? I see the old 'modern' IE has been discarded by the looks of it, so I presume they plan to introduce a more touch friendly browser with their IE replacement.
 
Touch implimentation, I get the feeling that they are pandering to the Desktop crowd first, or at least there are more desktop users than tablet users to things that dont get reported as much are further down the list of things to fix.

I was running 9996 or whatever the previous build was, I am just putting 10041 on as we speak and see if they have fixed it, I have noticed there is an option to set "mode" and then leave it in mode rather than alternating, I will test this within the hour.
 
Nope, downloading driver from reatek hasn't worked either, gets around 98% through and then an error.

Hope there's a fix soon. Or perhaps I'll try a fresh install from an ISO.
