But due to my config (Disk A: Users and C being windows) I used the windows SYSprep tool during setup and ran script to set my users folder to another drive, which has always worked great. But... I can't directly upgrade, I have to select 'Nothing' which is a ballache.
I hated windows 8 and 8.1 but 10 is fine. I can remove all traces of the new interface. Unpinned all items from the start menu, disable the charm bar in top right corner and now its like i just have a new version of windows 7.
The reason for it was because I wanted all my user stuff on another drive so it didn't fill up my SSD. I know I could have done all the libraries and all that crap, but I prefer just to have everything in separate places, plus my user stuff being in different place helps when Windows decides to die. It has saved my bottom a few time already.
Well I restored tablet back to factory and installed windows 10 and it blue screened and rolled me back to windows 8.
Trying via ISO now with full format.
