My 10049 keeps failing to update through windows update. Time for a clean 10074 instal I think.

Is it actually failing or just appears stuck. Mine stayed on 95% for several hours and install took about 6.

No its failing. Says update failed, rolls back and restarts.

The update list for the Xbox app is hilariously pathetic.
You can now see what you're playing on the Xbox One. That's flipping fantastic. Not.

I'd have expected Streaming by now.

Pretty sure I saw xbox streaming on a demo unit in the coverage of Microsoft's Build event so can't imagine it's too far away.

I created a bootable iso on a usb stick, plugged it into my dell venue and just ran the setup file. Installed that way fine, though slow.

I previously had failed installs and rolling back.

Not had any at all. In fact I was a bit apprehensive about drivers full stop but everything has so far worked as it should. I only use it for net/mail at the minute.

My only concern is that I didn't back up my windows 8.1 install, so I'm hoping when 10 comes out it'll just detect the key in the bios and see that I'm eligible for a free copy of 10?

Just did a clean 10074 install as I've got nothing worth keeping in my install anyway. Easier than faffing trying to get Windows Update to work.

Quick install was quick. From booting from USB to being at the desktop must have been less than 15 minutes!

why didn't MS keep the windows 8/8.1 start screen for tablet mode in windows 10? it would have been much better.
