Windows 10

Is there a way to set a custom mouse pointer size, or at least add in a higher DPI mouse point graphic?

I have my secondary 1080p screens on DSR to 4k and 125% scaling and the mouse pointer is massive on these screens!!

I cant have it on anything under 4k though as the text gets super distorted

1080p screen at 4x DSR? Why can't you run at 1080p? Don't know why text would he distorted?

Just installed it now from the iso I created from the esd file. All went well with zero issues, as usual. Clean install with no problems and activated with account info. GB lang pack installed and now default.

Yep. Well more like what it should have been released like, or almost there.

That sounds hopeful... presumable an ISO image file will also be available for it... or will it still be a case of installing the release version, and then upgrading?

I can run 1080p but I have a 4k main screen and its annoying going between windows as I can technically only move to the left and right 1080p screens on the bottom half of the 4k screen.

So I run DSR to force the 1080p monitors to 4k which means I can move around all 4 seamlessly which is great.

But then, when I run 4k DSR on the 1080p screens as they are only 24" I need to use 125% scaling which increases the mouse size to stupid levels.

So I need to either find high DPI mouse icons or figure out a way to force the mouse size to a specific size so it doesn't change

Sadly, I don't believe it can be done.

If its an online account (gmail/outlook/hotmail etc) do it in their web clients.

Other than that, you'll need Outlook, not Mail.

Not through the mail app, but the people app, that's how you edit it :)

Just to ask for sure, will I lose my license/require reactivation if I upgrade my laptop ?

I have RAM on the way to go from 6>8GB, and I'm tempted to order a quad core i7 ( currently on dual core i5 with HT).

As I've read about people losing activation even with just a mere bios update. If a cpu change makes the license imvalid I might as well just install KMSPico to get around the retarded DRM. As I can't be arsed to reinstall Win 7 with my original licence, then upgrade to win 10 again, for nothing.

Its tied to the motherboard so you shouldn't have any issues as long as that isn't changed.

Basically if you change the hardware then boot up the computer for the first time and see error ending C003 due to deactivation, get on the app to msft and advise the situation.

They will then remote connect to your computer, check the key is definitely present in the bios, then reactivate for you.

This won't be the case, my laptop doesn't have UEFI.

Good old fashioned windows 7 license sticker.

I'd need to read the win 10 key with a tool.

Thanks though, doubt I'll be changing the mainboard in the lappy, they're still over 100 euros I think, no point, I'd rather just buy a different 2nd hand lappy then!
