Looks like the front has dissipated on the rainfall radar - I think that's it for snow today/this evening.

Coming down steadily in NW London, I like my job but I could do with a bit of rail chaos in the morning so I get a 3 day weekend. 
Actually looking at BBC weather they've backed off the snowmageddon forecast overnight and it's just light snow and then sleet in the early morning

Wow its actually snowing! 
Proper fall of the white stuff at least an inch now and its still coming down. 7pm it barely started by 10pm its snowmageddon out there spent nearly an hour getting home its normally only 10 minutes I could have walked faster snow is thick on the roads and cars are slithering all over the place. Tried to turn right round the roundabout and thecar kept going straight ahead for another 15 feet or so! Was barely going at walking speed at the time but damn that was a little unsettling. At this rate the police will be closing roads. Even saw a 4x4 nearly dive into parked cars looked like it was on skates.
Expect it'll all be gone by morning I'm tempted to go for a walk in the crisp clean pristine snow it before it all disappears or I'll have to wait another 5 years for a fall lol.

Not if the ground is frozen it happened in 2010. I remember very well as taking my daughter to school was a nightmare, the school was only about 0.2 miles away but it got that bad I used the car.
Its naughty when you have snow on black ice.

Finally started here. Road and pavement gone in about 10 minutes. Forecast until 10am. Schools out I reckon. Brilliant.
Were you one of the unlucky ones stuck on the A30? Saw it on Sky News earlier, looked like carnage.my 30 min trip from work took 5 hours tonight
ah yes if i wasnt loaded with flu tablets i would ,day off tommorow though im stuck here i reckon
