You don’t have CH?Chilly night incoming in Hampshire, 2C just before sunrise on Sunday morning...
Might need to put at least one storage heater on full input and full output, for its first use in over six months.

Interesting, but I’ll take this with a huge wheelbarrow of salt
Would love to do this but bet it's a few bob. We went to Lapland a few Christmases ago. The first time going on a "cold" holiday and I loved every minute of it. Broke the bank a bit though.Thats the primary reason why 15 years ago we decided to spend every December/Christmas/New Year in Canada, we simply got fed up of throwing back the curtains on Christmas morning and it basically looking like a rainy October day outside. We decided right then, from now on, every year will be Canada so that we can have a Christmas that actually looks like the Christmasses that tv adverts and movies are always thrusting at us
Yeah its a several thousand in total each December but its worth it. Not missed a year for 15 years now (except the Covid years when travel wasnt possible, and that was hell, being consigned to a UK Christmas , gah ! )Would love to do this but bet it's a few bob. I read that this storm absolutely battered Ireland and Scotland as it came across but you wouldn't have a clue if you looked at the BBC website. If this was hitting the south it would be wall to wall coverage.
