Predictably woken up by the wind noise whistling past the street light outside.
And of course it's bin day so I had a peep outside at bags of trash everywhere, popped out and sorted that.
Is 3am too early to just get up and have breakfast....

I've not slept a wink. The wind is ferocious here in Carrickfergus. I kinda wished I lived in the castle 
Surprised I couldn't see an individual thread for the storm.
I reckon my fence is toast, expecting something to land on the car.
Also expecting at least one of two areas to leak in (despite being told the flat roofs fine by 3 roofers)
Not much you can do I guess. Anything less than the above will be a bonus !

Pretty much the same, somethings going to give. I always get anxiety during high winds and we had a new roof fitted about 6 months ago... let's see how it does. I expect some fence to be airborne at some point and maybe a few tiles

9pm here in Auckland, 20 degrees still, with an overnight low of 17 or 18, Westerlies of 6-14km/h.
Tomorrow much the same but watch out for Sunday. Few drops of rain coming in off the north easterly. What a rascal!

I'm the same. I'm the same with snow and ice as well.
For some reason, I've become more anxious about the weather in the last few years than before.
The news (well GMB) tell us to stay home and avoid going out, keep clear of coastal areas and now over to Pete standing right next to a gale bashed harbour wall.

Oh so thats why my dad says "scorchio" when it is hot. Huh only took me until near 40, ashamed I have not seen this before hahah
