He opens the book and starts reading people with black hair, then he comes to the one with blonde. What's the result of that?, why did it shock him?. I think i've got the jist of it, but would like to know for sure ;)

Spoiler...

Geoffrey (sp?), the current Prince, is blonde, but if he was a Barathion, which he should be considering he should be the son of Robert and Cersei, his hair would be dark. Thus he is obviously not Robert's son but in fact someone else's (not sure he's figured out it's Jamie's yet?).

only 4 left ? why tv god, why ? Other than Deadliest Catch and Dr Who its the only thing I watch :( oh and Fringe

why is that a spoiler ?

If you can't work out that Joffrey is an illegitimate child and son of Jamie by now you're watching the wrong series.

We know that brother and sister are at it, we've seen it in the first episode. We know that the previous hand of the king was killed for asking questions, probably by a lannister.

Now what could Cersei be up to that would warrant killing people like a 10 year old boy to hide her secret ? oh yes thats right, she's bumping uglys with her brother :D

So John Arryn obviously found out or was close to finding out when he was killed.

And who do we know that has a tradition of having lots of fair haired children ? the lannisters of course.

No co-incidence that she's having it away with her fair haired brother and then has a fair haired child :p

You are a rival to Sherlock Holmes good sir!!! :D:p

My missus couldn't work it out either, she left the room before the end of the episode in a huff because after trying to explain 3 times and her still not understanding I... enquired (:p) in a rather loud voice if she somewhat less intelligent than the common barnyard animal :o

Hence the continuous mentioning that 'the seed is strong'!

Only 4 more episodes? This makes me very sad :( Once this series is done I'll go back and finally re-read all the books again.

Great episode.
- The award for most painful death goes to... Viserys! Not a good way to go...
- Syrio Forel is an awesome character. I really enjoy watching the scenes between him and Arya.
- I wonder how much Jason Momoa is getting paid to sit there and look menacing for 90% of the time he's on screen as Drogo.
- Tyrion confessing his crimes was funny/entertaining to watch. Still a great character.
- I'm not one for heights, and i know it was entirely fictional but the scenes with Tyrion in the cell were unnerving. Seriously, who has a chat with someone while standing on the edge of a very very very large drop. I clenched my teeth in fright when he started rolling.
- Daenerys has some guts... the heart eating scene was hard to...stomach :p.

Enjoyed those parts too, I found the jailer rather funny 'small man still talking, hit, small man still talking' etc :)

Nah

Sherlock holmes would have spotted it round about ep 3 when eddard went to visit the blacksmiths boy and worked out he was one of Roberts ********. Except he, like his father was dark haired. :D

Been brilliant so far. It has been up to par with the books. If anyone hasn't read the books already I highly recommend it.
