ultimately at the end of the day its not real.
I just think his character's a ******![]()
he's in the kings guard because he's a lannister. They all want to weasel their way into positions of power and influence through their name, rather than on merit.
Bear in mind the comments stark made to him about the condition of his armour and carefully choosing his opponents. He only picks fights he knows he can win. Like stabbing the king in the back. Then there was of course the comments about the lannisters staying out of the revolution by Robert and Eddard against the Targareyans until they knew which side was going to win.
One thing the lannisters are not, is men of honour. They serve only themselves.
Throughly enjoying this series, best TV I have seen in a while.
I usually like magic in my fantasy. Is there any in the books at all?
His character develOps really well though, possibly one of the best in the books
Another excellent episode!
Loved the Bronn fight. Just how it was in the book, let the guy wearing the shield and heavy armour wear himself out then a quick poke and jobs a gud un. Ending was epic too![]()
I confess I cheered a lot more when he died in the book than I did here. In the book he's portrayed as much more of a cruel, dangerous psychopath, whereas in the series he's justan an annoying spoiled little brat. What happened to him here seems a bit over the top, whereas when I read the same scene in the book I did a few airpunches in celebration and wondered why they put up with him this long!Great episode.
- The award for most painful death goes to... Viserys! Not a good way to go...
- I wonder how much Jason Momoa is getting paid to sit there and look menacing for 90% of the time he's on screen as Drogo.
Same, I got vertigo just watching it! And it's the worst possible way to wake up, that! It's like waking up from a nightmare and discovering it's still going on!- I'm not one for heights, and i know it was entirely fictional but the scenes with Tyrion in the cell were unnerving.
