Gregor Clegane has also been recast, as Conan Stevens has schedule conflicts with his work in The Hobbit movie. He's replaced by 7'1" Ian Whyte, who appeared in Season 1 as one of the white walkers.

Don't think he's been recast just won't be in season two.. At least not without his helmet on lol.

Yeah but im sure I read an interview where they said he would be coming back in season 3. I'm bet they use smoke and mirrors to disguise it's a different actor. No tv show character swaps actors anymore.. Well with the exception of Sparticus for understandable reasons. :)

Looks really good, I can't really remember book two as well as the others other than the final few chapters.

A certain two characters are in a scene together in that trailer that never meet up after book 1.

Maybe but season 1 did add a few new scenes (Robert and Cersi having breakfast discussing the state of their marriage for example). I could see them adding a scene like that now especially if it's at George's request as perhaps originally he didn't know which direction the storyline would go in and thought they could meet up at another point down the road in subsequent volumes.

Well I'm doing my part to promote the show got 10 of my mates round to watch the entire run of season one back to back on my big screen the week of the Blu Ray release! Can't wait for that more than even season 2, just have to make sure no one try's to spoil it for the others who haven't seen it. I'll threaten guests with book 5 spoilers if they try!

DVD/Bluray is out soon, we've got about 5 different versions of it at work ready to start shipping at the moment, some with photo books, some with art cards and so on, they are some nice looking sets.

Any idea what retailer gets what? Amazon gets an extra disc with a making of feature on it. If the photo book is anything like the broadwalk empire one it might be tempting.

They are leaving bits of book 2 for season 3 and vice versa.

I know there bringing off screen scenes in for some characters who arnt in book two and adding in early book 3 scenes since book 3 is so big. I haven't heard of any book 2 scenes getting left till next season though.

Ign have got their review up now of the first episode for those wanting a preview! Everyone please remember though we can only discuss the episode during/after it has aired in the UK. I am having to trek to the parents house to watch it tonight!! :)

Please don't get this thread closed after three years by discussing future episodes that haven't aired in the uk as its against both the forum and this threads rules. There is a thread linked to in the first post to discuss the storyline of the books.
