Joffrey saw the women and was like "yeah I'd hit that".

Seriously though he is a brilliant actor, you could tell early on he was getting off on having Sansa beaten.

I don't know why we're having these problems now after we all did so well with season 1. This is how it is (and how it has been since I made the thread);

1; you can discuss the most recently aired episode of the tv show when it has aired in the UK. You may also talk about how the book differs up to the latest episode shown. In addition you may talk about behind the series news such as casting etc.

2; If you want to talk about book 5 and/or story developments past what has been aired there is a specially made thread linked to on the first page.

If anyone wants to make another thread with different rules that stay within the forum rules they are more than welcome to.

Hope that clears it up once and for all :).

My favourite episode of all last night....some brilliant concurrant story lines

I agree. They did the right thing missing certain characters out certain weeks similar to Lost to allow a large cast to shine. I was actually thinking they could do with a 24 style close out showing all the plot threads in progress before closing on a dramatic scene.

And the boobies, oh how could you forget the boobies !

Add Demon Birth to the list now.

Also on rewatch of season one I recently noticed Loras only shaved Renlys right armpit.... I'm looking for varification in season 2 that left armpit hair is still intact. Although perhaps Loras finished him off after the scene ended so to speak!? ;)

What on earth?! Why is *edit* name starred out?

This is a spoiler free thread as per A) the title, B) the forum rules. If you want to talk about characters still around in book 5 then please see the thread linked to on the first post.

As for the Mountain I didn't notice he was re-cast actually? He was at the con last month talking to fans, can't recall anyone mentioning it.

Sansa is portrayed a lot more favourably than in the books. There's something she did that has been omitted from the TV show that would make people hate even more. I won't mention the specifics in case the producers have intentionally not mentioned it and saving it for a later reveal than sticking with the book chronology.

I have to say no complaints about season 2 here. If anything I've found this season better than the last which I'd never thought I'd say. While book 1 was to me on par with the source material, season 2 has surpassed it!

I still am! Season 5 is my fav. For me it Only went down in quality in season 9 and then only on the myth arc episodes (barring The Truth).

Anyways only a few episodes of this season left, can't wait! With these seasons been so short it makes the wait for the next season even longer.

They should have left Gregor out of season 2 rather than replace him. Still is a disservice to the fans that he left the role after making the commitment. It's not like he didn't know how long the role would last.

Can't wait!! Penultimate episodes are always like the season finales on HBO shows. Also tonight's episode is written by the author and his season 1 episode was my favorite. Given all the action that's promised hopes are very high indeed!!

10/10 of course from me! Yeah the chain was missing and didn't part of kings landing burn down in the books to make way for Stannis? Also Tyrion wasn't noseless!! Still loved it though.
